modem would work without any issues, making the transfer seem straightforward. However, after disconnecting my old service, I spent hours on the phone that night trying to set up the new service. I spoke to three different technicians, all of whom kept me on hold for long periods. They directed me to call Netcom, which was listed on my modem, but I could only leave a message and never received one non helpful callback. This poor customer service forced me to reach out to Tangerine again, waiting for hours on the phone. Eventually, a technician informed me that my modem was faulty and that I’d have to wait three business days for a replacement, with no regard for my need to work from home and use the internet. Given this experience, I will not continue with Tangerine once my contract of 6mths ends and will seek a new provider. Sadly all customer service are going abroad making communication difficult at times.
