Myer OK – I have always enjoyed shopping at Myer. The stores are usually always very inviting and staff usually happy to help with a smile. I like the fact that there are lots of different… brands to choose from in one store. Myer stock a great range of products and quality brands at varying price ranges in all areas of the store. The Myer One card is a good incentive to shop there to get points that can be redeemed for vouchers. Some of the products are overpriced compared to other stores. I also don't like the 'feel' of some of the miss shop and younger fashion sections of the store, particularly at the Melbourne city store. It is quite grungy but then again perhaps that is showing my age... |

Ikea Lattsam Potty Bad – We bought one of these from Ikea about two weeks ago as our daughter is just starting to show interest in toilet training. At the price of $4.95 I thought why not. I am now not… sure if I have made the right decision. The seat part looks really uncomfortable and I am not sure that my girl really likes to sit on it. It's only early days yet but we may yet have to upgrade to something a little bit more luxurious. Inexpensive potty - was only $4.95. Is lightweight, and very easy to clean. Looks very uncomfortable for children to sit on. |

Chemist Warehouse Bad – Chemist Warehouse is not the first chemist I think to go to when I need something despite them being often cheaper than my regular chemist. This is partly due to the fact that the… stores closest to me are not convenient for me to get to and partly due to the fact that I feel I get better and more personal service from other smaller chemists that are closer. The stores are also not very attractive or inviting to walk into. Masses of shelves filled to the top with product which I guess is why its called chemist 'warehouse'. I would recommend chemist warehouse if you really want to save money but it comes with a price. Many of the products at Chemist Warehouse are slightly cheaper than other smaller chemists. They have particularly good deals on personal care and skin care products as well as baby products. Is often busy and the few stores I have visited, the staff have not been all that friendly when I have needed help finding a product. |

Target Australia Good – When I need an item for the house or a new outfit, Target is always on my list of stores to visit. When I was growing up, target always had the reputation of being quite an… unfashionable place to shop, however now they have some really nice clothing, accessories and shoes. I love buying seasonal pieces such as shoes and bags from target and have picked up some really good buys over the time. Target product are also usually of a very high quality for the price paid. Is a good one stop shop for most things. Clothes, home wares, toys, electrical just to name a few. Target has reasonable prices (although are starting to creep up over the past few years) and fabulous sales if you are lucky enough to pick up a decent bargain. Target stores are always conveniently located which is a bonus. I wish they sold more outdoor products such as things for the garden. That's pretty much the only thing that they don't sell! |

Streets Magnum Almond Excellent – My husband and I love to treat ourselves occasionally with Magnum almond. I love the combination of creamy ice cream with the chocolate and almonds. The chocolate they use is very… smooth and creamy but has a satisfying crunch when you bite. The almonds give the perfect finish to this popular ice cream. I say popular because at my local supermarket they always seem to sell out of this variety quicker than the others. Chocolate, ice cream and almonds. What is there not to like? Great combination of flavours and made with quality ingredients. They are a bit expensive - although I suppose are comparative to other brands of ice cream on a stick but worth it for a treat. Not enough in a box! |
