Police Health Seems expensive but worth it – I have been with Police Health for (as long as I can remember) 12+ years. Although there are definitely cheaper options for private health insurance, Police Health are very good… and the ease of submitting a claim and friendly customer service makes me stay with them. Every time I have rung to make an enquiry I have never had to wait on hold for more than a couple of minutes and have always spoken to lovely staff. |

STA Travel Steer clear of STA Travel – I have booked with STA on a number of occasions but will never again!! My last holiday ended up costing extra for car hire when the paperwork I agreed too did not include any… additional chargers. After ringing STA I was told to submit a complaint and the money would be reimbursed. I jumped through hoops to be told that the extra money would not be reimbursed. |

BabyBjorn One Fiancé loves taking bubs for walks – I first bought a wrap and used that, but living in a humid climate, needed a carrier that was better suited for hot weather. Bought the carrier online from Baby Village during a… sale and couldn’t be happier. So easy to adjust and transfer baby into and out of the carrier when asleep. Even my fiancé is super happy with it. I would definitely recommend getting the teething band as bubs loves to suck on the head rest when facing forward. |

Mamas & Papas Armadillo Flip XT Great Pram for First Time Mum – Love love love. My mum and dad got us this pram as a present for our son (their first grandson). They bought us the bassinet also which was awesome to when bubs was a brand new… baby. I love that the chair can be forward and rear facing, and also how much air circulation there is. Living in Darwin’s hot and humid weather this was a must when we shopped around. It also lays almost completely flat, which has made it great for when I needed to change bubs and there wasn’t a change table available. The storage underneath is a good size. Super easy to fold and unfold. My only minor issue is that the hood has trouble staying completely opened. |

Novalac Colic First time formula- thumbs up – After reading reviews and the thumbs up from a friend who is also a new mum, I gave Novalac a go as bubs is a windy baby and wasn’t getting enough milk from me (11 weeks old).… Easy to prepare, bubs loves the taste and zero bad side effects. I have tried another brand, which he takes, but it’s much thicker and he prefers Novalac. |
