confused! There were so many different beds to choose from at a wide range of prices. However, once we spoke to Margaret at Snooze, Cockburn Central, things started to look clearer. She listened to what we both wanted and suggested we take advantage of their testing machine, which would tell us which type of bed would suit us both. She then used the test results to show us a manageable selection of beds at various price points and left us alone to try them all out at our leisure, replying to all our questions without any pressure to buy. We soon found a bed which suited us both at a price we were very happy with. We were promised delivery in 5 - 10 working days and seven days later we received a text asking us to arrange delivery, which we did for the next day. As promised, the delivery team sent a text naming a 2 hour window for delivery and on delivery day, notified us when they were 20 minutes away. Margaret had told us that the two-man delivery team would unpack and set up the ensemble in the bedroom, but we have been told the same thing by other furniture retailers, only to have the goods dropped off quickly leaving us to do all the unpacking and assembly. However, this time I was pleased to see the ensemble fully set up within ten minutes, with all the packing taken away as well. I cannot comment on the quality of the bed since it has only just been delivered, but so far we have been very happy with our dealings with Snooze, Cockburn Central.

pre-orderd a couple of brand new releases for our grandchildren, so that they could receive the special downloadable content (DLC) which came with a pre-order.

Being new to the pre-ordering process, we had no idea how DLC was delivered and we were unaware that we should have received written codes when we collected the game. As soon as we realised the problem, I rang the shop, on a busy Saturday afternoon, and the assistant couldn't have been more helpful. He spent about 15 minutes reading out the codes - they were very long ones! - and making sure I had them down correctly.

On another occasion, when we needed to contact a supplier, an assistant gave us the phone number, but soon afterwards contacted us to say he had rung the supplier and sorted it all out for us. At the time, he was alone in the shop and obviously very busy.

5.5 litre HP5520 because, even though I now only cook for two, I like to cook enough to freeze for quick meals later. Since I am retired, I did not need the automatic electronic version, although I think that would be a real boon for working mums. I was lucky to find the one I wanted on special for $67 at Good Guys, and absolutely amazed when it was reduced further to $49 at the check out. A real bargain!

I have had the cooker for only a few weeks but I have been very impressed with its performance so far. The reviews were right - it really does cook slowly on the low setting (I have not yet used the high setting)and produces consistently tender, juicy and flavoursome meals. It cooked so slowly that at first I thought it wasn't working. No rapid bubbling here!

The ceramic bowl is a bit heavy and you have to take care when washing it up, but this just reflects the overall solid quality of the cooker itself.

This is my first slow cooker and I don't know why I waited so long to buy one. high quality product, a true slow cooker, bargain price
