I then received text and emails demanding payment and threatening action. One day I received 3 phone calls which just said my name and press 1.

I arranged transfer to another company. They contacted me offering a better deal but I emphasized I wished to move to another company.

I received a letter from them re the transfer requesting I sign the form included and return it. When i studied the form I realised it was actually a transfer to AGL and canceling my new supplier.

I have received a phone call from AGL which they said was re the transfer. I was asked to confirm private details such as date of birth and address. When i question why she was asking these details she eventually admitted it was to transfer the account back to AGL.

I cannot believe a major company would resort to such immoral and unethical actions.
