it also has a "drain" setting which runs for 1 minute to get rid of any water so you can re-open the door if you forget to put more clothes in. Simple easy to use. Each wash setting you can select the desired water temperature & spin cycle you want which is great. Choice of water & spin settings for each wash selection, lots of different cycles to choose. My old machine would make a chime sounds when the cycle is finished. This one doesn't have any alerts which would be good.
