Had Blinds installed from 1800Mackay. $10000 and when useing veranda blind after 2 months for first time faulty. Been almost 2 months and still not fixed. Blinds came quick. They are quick to sell but dont expect a warranty to go well. I have refered lots of friends and have already. But Now. No way. So very expensive 2. They left grinding fillings all over my veranda and used my chairs for laders. Also bad scrach now after atempting first fix. Not profesional. So will contact them this week again to get a fix date.
Lost my deposit – In Liquidation, how disappointing, lost my deposit, Liquidators have advised that chances of getting my deposit back is nominal. Apparently they have transferred their business to another company with a similar name.
Excellent and professional service – My experience with 1800 Blinds has been fantastic. Luke made excellent recommendations for my sunny balcony and the awning was professionally installed on time. I am very happy and recommend this company.
Excellent excellent excellent – From the get go 1800 blinds has been great. Chad was really lovely to deal with with the initial consultation and Luke did a great job installing our blinds and shutters. They have been reliable and very professional and even managed to install everything before Christmas. Would highly recommend.

done with the shutters. The installer (Buck - his nickname) was very friendly & professional, turned up on-time with a nice attitude and went straight to work & did a great job of fitting them off. I've dealt with a few companies now and found despite some past negative reviews this company completed the work in the time they said without a hitch. My real estate lady who'll manage the property for us was so impressed she intends to get them out to quote for her own home and no doubt will recommend to other property owners. It was all a good experience for me - I'll definitely give them a good wrap when anyone asks as they sincerely deserve it!
Excellent – The team at 1800 Blinds have done several jobs for me over the last few years as I got to each stage of that renovation. Always on time, always fitted well, and everything is still functioning as it should. Would highly recommend Dean and the whole team.
Service is really bad – I got 1800 to put plantation shutters in my cottage spent a heap on them. Unfortunately 4 slates have broken and I have tried to get the installers in Illawarra to give me a quote to fix them . March I really don't think he is going to come and fix them at all he just gives excuses all the time. So my review is think before you get them to do your blinds because if one breaks he won't come and fix it you will have to go to another company and get a whole new plantation blind because they won't fix a blind that another company has in stalled. I will never get 1800 blinds to do blinds in my house extremely poor service.
Excellent service! – My double roller blinds look amazing! Customer service was exceptional, the installation was quick and they were very reasonably priced. The installer was very friendly and professional. I highly recommend 1800-blinds!
Uneven blinds – I was not provided with the info required to make a decision on how to hang the blinds. Result was a large gap for the sun to come in. then proceeded to make me feel like an idiot for pointing it out - I was asked are you one of those ocd people?
The real issue with this company is that they make you pay the full balance BEFORE installation. So if there are issues, they don't need to care about fixing them. So I am stuck with my uneven blinds.
Shop around, anyone else must be better – From giving a deposit to final completion took 6 months. If I bought off the shelf blinds they would have fitted better. Blockout blinds had huge gaps at sides and at first were not even set within the window frame. Every visit required booking at least 5 weeks in advance. Fantastic job – My shutters were installed on time and look amazing. All the staff were a pleasure to deal with and i was kept up to date on the status of my order right up to the installation. Would recommend to anyone they are fantastic.

Efficient install - very happy Feb 2017 – Approximate install date was provided when deposit paid. Follow up call made advising order had arrived early so new install date confirmed. Installer phoned in advance and arrived within agreed time frame. Install team cleaned up as they went on a very hot day. Cannot fault the product, the tradies or the process - MANY THANKS
fitting/instillation – its been a couple of months since I have had my ziptracks installed. thought the job was not going to be finished but the team at 1800 blinds where honest and got Mo out to complete the job for me even on his holidays. a true champion and a asset to the company. Measure and quote was really good - then I had to deal with Operations Manager – I decided to proceed with placing an order with 1800-BLI-NDS, as the guy who attended onsite to do the measure on quote seemed to really know his stuff. that the factory had only just advised them that there was a delay on our order, and that it would not arrive for another 3 weeks.
The operations manager offered no apology since the revised (delayed) installation date was still within their standard lead times. I confirmed with them when the deposit was paid, and queried how the revised installation date was still within their lead times, since it seemed to overshoot it by almost two weeks (best case). The operations manager then denied stating that the revised installation date was within their standard lead times, but still failed to demonstrate any accountability or ownership to remedy the situation.
I requested the managing director to contact me, but received no contact.
From where I stand, I have little confidence in ever getting the blinds. A real shame as the measure and quote guy was also an installer - doing a great job, but being let down my management and a clear absence of process and accountability.
Brilliant product and delivery time was great – I had a fantastic experience with 1800-Blinds. From the sales reps to installation team, office staff and products delivered, everything was well beyond what I expected from a family run business.
Horrible Blinds – I bought vertical blinds from 1800 blinds Campbelltown for the entire house. Costing $6000. The tracts are so bad that we cannot open or close them without jerking and resistance. installed 2 blinds as it was ordered wrong and I have not heard back from them. Everytime I call it goes to voicemail. Am considering taking this to fair trading.
