AAPT Mobile

Bad – Another disappointing service by a disappointing Teleco. Personally if Telstra got their act together I would go with them. Initially we were very happy with them as we had 2 landlines and 2 mobiles with them. It has been acouple of years since I was with them. Dollar wise plans ok. Coverage poor. Didn't have Data / intenet at the time Poor customer service unless you want the sales team
aapt billing – aapt charged me every month for unbundling a internet/phone service-they transferred my phone to iinet when iinet took over aapt-I have contacted aapt regarding the recurring charge-but they failed to reassure that it wouldn't continue-I will have to cotact them every month to reverse the charge;this is very poor service and I would not recommend iinet/aapt to others inefficiency
Terrible – Tried to move my number away from them and they continued to bill me even though I was with a another provider. This has taken 5 months and counting to resolve. The 02 phone number (which I can use for free with my iiNet package) won't connect to voice calls, so I have had to pay for the 135 number to deal with this issue. Don't use AAPT. Poor coverage. Unhelpful support. Poor Administration.
Terrible – Used to be up with the best, been with them for years. Now they want to put you on contract for any change you wish to make (like minor change to broadband plan or mobile plan), this is an insult to any long-standing customer. Used to speak Kiwi but now its tagalog and there are some difficulties with communication. Having horrendous problem… Read more
porting mobile to another (better) provider and the problem is clearly of their making. The TIO will need to be involved soon. They do answer reasonably quickly for help with problems and staff are wishing to be helpful. As efficient as a concrete parachute
Terrible – Will wait for outcome of latest error. Wish that I had not been conned by supposed value for money; the stress and time involved in trying to get a bill for what you actual payed for makes any potential savings worthless. Have given AAPT an ultimatum to sort out my issue and then decided whether I break my contract - my health is worth more what… Read more
it will cost me to break contract. HOPELESS! A step back to the dark ages in terms of customer service. Call centre relatively quick response time. Cannot get a simple contract right, then tries charging you for their mistakes.
Terrible – awful ... very poor ... terrible ... customer service agents cannot string a sentence together ... all their sentences are back to front ... phonecalls that should take 2 minutes take 20 minutes plus ... Once this contract is over I will never use AAPT again, they are a seriously crap company terrible customer service. Nobody can speak English.… Read more
This is infuriating, particularly as I am now stuck in a 2 year contract. I wish I'd googled AAPT before I signed up. DO NOT USE AAPT UNLESS YOU LIKE HEADACHES !!
Good – We've been with them for a year now. Great call packages for adsl, mobile and landline even with no contract. But now they're doing contracts for mobiles (and their max cap plan is only valued up to $500). We don't do contracts... been burnt by others in the past. These guys were the best out of telstra, optus and gotalk but now not up to scratch… Read more
with the market. Shame. Will change carrriers now cause of the contract thing. call centre always there, value for money for packages, they didn't have plans up until now so that's now a con. Coverage ok, not great tho. going over plan amounts hurts (but always is), new mobile plan 24 month contracts! so going to another carrier, the english thing on the call centre is painful sometimes but they try to be helpful and hey, it's better than the big carriers cause at least aapt answer the phones and you're not on hold for a long time! Coverage just ok not great.
Terrible – having worked there, before the downsize in staff and moving most of the business to sydney it was good, no wait times, nice friendly staff who would try and help where they were able, now long wait times, shoddy internet help, poor customer service, and uncompetitive prices in their plans everything, customer service may as well be in india the… Read more
type of service you get from people who just dont care, bill suddenly doubles without any pre-warning after they changed their mobile billing system - dont care i wasnt notified.
Terrible – I have had the worst experence so far with AAPT. I have told all my friends NOT to go with them. I have bills with, quote "Misclanious" charges of over 60 dollars on bills with only 50 dollars of calls on them. And when I rang up to ask them to Itemise the charges for me, they said they couldnt. So try explaining to someone who isnt even in the… Read more
country that you are not paying for something that they cant explain, but in the end you have no choice. RIP OFF> NOTHING! Absolutly the worst to deal with. Everything, strange biling system, "Micilanious" charges and high prices.
Terrible – Firstly had trouble porting over then after 12 calls to aapt (no one ever rings back) and after report to the ombudsman mobile lines were ported. Then low and behold there was little to no coverage even though aapt assured me there was coverage at the given address (funny that when i was talking to technical dept the service kept dropping out) I would like to quit with aapt but termination fees are exorbatant.
Excellent – We were with "AAPT" in the past and regrettably, yes we went back to Telstra for a short while and "yuk", what poor service and products they offer in comparison with "AAPT". We are now back with "AAPT" and bundled our home phone, internet, and mobile phone into one account. We love it. Good value for money. Good back up. Good products . Easy billing online.
Excellent – Been with them for nearly 3 years and have had very few problems and they were mostly of my own making.. Great pricing plans all with optional contracts. Value plus when compared with the big ( read expensive) telcos. Everything. Nothing comes to mind.
