I think I have been ripped off – I am having the same issue. I joined their full-time accelerator and both Aaron and Victor offer a 30 day refund policy but it is impossible to contact them. I cannot work out how to follow the program, there is not customer service and any email response is generic and not personal at all so I am beginning to become confused on their legitimacy.

A proper sales man – Just have been on his webinar, but it was very disappointing. Fish you to get on the web, but in the end, try to sell his products which cost nearly $700! (Spending lots of time explaining how much money you would save if you buy it in this limited offer period etc) I worked in the sales so I know exactly what he is doing...! If he was really genuinely wanted to help others, he'd not have priced it so much and would not have done this typical dirty sales techniques in the first place...

Offers a 30 day refund, makes it impossible to receive refund – Factual. I know my thought patterns are sometimes unhelpful to me. So I signed up for Aaron Doughty's 'Emotional Transformation Process' workshop. It's difficult not to use his name because, well, his name is his business. The course cost $497 USD. When you buy it online in a live promotion video he tells you there is a 30 day money back offer. I try to login day 1 and I don't have a password, I didn't receive a password. I click the reset password button. I don't get an email through immediately. Then my brain does something else and forgets about it. A couple days later I realise, I still don't have that password. I try to reset it again. And again forget about it when I don't receive a password back immediately.

This happens a few times by which point I am at like Day 20. "Stuff this" I say. "This isn't quality service for a $497 USD purchase". And despite liking the message he shares and the resources I thought I could learn from him for months prior to buying the course, his latest posts on YouTube were feeling less earnest to me - I was losing resonance with his message.

So I email and say, "Hello Aaron, I’d like to request a refund for the course - I believe there was a 30 day policy. I haven’t received a password. Requesting a password send failed to work. I respect the work that you do to help others, but I no longer think the coursework is for me at this time (yes, even though I have not been able to access it). Look forward to your earliest reply. I can forward a receipt of my payment if that will assist. Best".

I receive an email with a password! And zero recognition of anything else I wrote in requesting a refund.

Back and forth, back and forth over several emails until he, or his support team pretending to be him (?) say, "Sorry to hear the Academy isn’t working out for you. I’ll be honest though, I really believe that if you go through it and apply it using the exercises, meditations, etc, it will profoundly change your life. If however you do decide that you still like a refund, and it is within 30 days, here is what to do… (This is in the “Terms and Conditions” that was linked on the order page) you can check it out here https://aarondoughty.com/privacy-policy-and-terms-of-use/"

You HAVE to watch all his videos, do all his worksheets (there is probably 50 pages of worksheet to do) and then email them back for him/his team to consider your request. I did this process with only 8 days to go until my 30 day period for refund was up - and before I tell you what happened next...

1. why would you make someone use all of your material if they want a refund? Isn't that like saying, "you don't want to eat this ice cream? But it's so good, I believe in it. Eat the whole thing and if you don't like it I'll give your money back." What if I eat it - I like it - but I tell you otherwise? Feels like you have pretty good grounds to deny a refund on the basis of... "But you ate it all - you must have liked it!"

2. if someone tells you that don't want to eat your home-made ice cream - and they make you do it to get your money back - you're probably NOT going to like being force-fed what you don't want.

So I watch all the videos. I do the worksheets (the daily ones I do only 8 of since I didn't receive the password until about Day 22 of my purchase as explained above). This takes me a good chunk of my spare time. And I'm right. I'm watching the videos going 1) they don't resonate with me, 2) I'm not impressed because I DIDN'T WANT to do his workshop anymore, but am being made to do it because, $497 is a whole lot more than $5, so if you are eligible for a refund, you'll want to cover all the criterion.

So I've sent all this work off to Aaron and his support team and I get the following response:

"I just checked and it looks like you were not able to write the 30 days Emotional Vibration Challenge which has to be 30 pages. I am really sorry to say this but your 30 days money back guarantee is now invalid since April 1 2019. My records show that the purchase was more than 30 days ago and therefore it is out of the date of being available for a refund. If you have any questions let us know."

Yes, it's more than 30 days ago because I emailed you the worksheets on 3 separate occasions because you claimed not to receive them each prior time. And...

"How was I supposed to write worksheets for 30 days when I only received the password from the program 8 days ago? Why would you tell me to do all the worksheets when you knew I did not have access until 8 days ago? For someone who has said in his YouTube videos that you don’t do this work for the money - and for someone who earns in a month what I earn in a year..." [He must need the money more than I do]. "You have made it pretty impossible to receive a refund - why offer it if you don’t genuinely intend to honour it. Your program won’t work for anyone if they don’t feel you are genuine in your intentions. Your other customers are lucky to not see this side of you. Not cool, guy."

Respectfully, the process seems like it is set up to forcefully prove that someone will get something out of the course and so negate any chance of refund. One teacher may not be able to reach all of their students, who may benefit from being gracefully let go to find another teacher and their own more aligned path.

Honestly, why offer a refund process if you don't genuinely intend to honour it.

My experience with this product and refund experience has made me see a whole different side of this famous YouTuber that is not earnest and not congruent with his public message/image.

Some may still like what he has to offer, but I'm disappointed.
