ABB is a huge multi-national company. I have no reason to question the quality of their hardware, but the app and their customer service are rubbish. I have a Fronius EV charger at my other house and the app is very responsive and easy to use. I had an issue once and their customer service was brilliant. This contrasts with ABB. The ABB app is incredibly slow to respond and is so cumbersome to use. Clearly they don't care as it recently prompted me for feedback by generating and email for me to complete. But when you send the email, it bounces back saying that I don't have permission to send it to them. I suppose that's one way to avoid negative feedback.

I forwarded the email to their contact centre. I got an automated response (via Salesforce) saying a case number has been created. Then nothing. Nada. I imagine they just delete and ignore emails from consumers as they are too busy with corporate clients. I just wish they had stayed out of the consumer EV charger game.

My advice. Don't buy an expensive ABB EV charger. (Mine came with my Smart #3 EV - so I didn't have a choice - I've now replaced it with a Sigenergy AC EV Charger))
