ABB Solar Inverter 3P25990S100A

So far so good – Had this inverter installed under warranty from Bosch as my old inverter failed. Will update when it fails. Haven't had it long enough to review it in depth. It has fan faults at least twice a month, these I do worry about because the inverter has done this since new. It throws a lot of uv input error codes when trying to wake up or go to sleep but I don't think they are anything to really worry about. If it lasts 10 year's I'll be happy but not holding my breath after seeing the reviews on here. They might have decent customer service now an Italian company called Fimer bought then out. ABB no longer own it but the unit's are still branded ABB until they build a reputable name in the market.

ABB Uno inverter – I completely agree with all the statements made here in relation to ABB inverters I paid for a 5KW inverter 12 years ago.. It failed at approximately 4 1/2 yrs and was replaced with another unit under 5yr warranty (thankfully) which seems to have failed today. They are clearly designed to fail at the end of warranty!!!! THESE ARE NOT PROPERLY DESIGN AND I WILL NOT BE BUGING ANOTHER!!!

Not fit for purpose – We now have had 1 replacement under warranty and the 2nd has failed after less than 3 years. ABB are giving us the run around not honouring the 10 year warranty that we paid extra for. Keep away from this brand, they have NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, their inverters are not fit for purpose. Our electrical contractor installer has had nothing but problems and delays in dealing with them on multiple installs.

Not happy – We are on our 3rd inverter, (4th including replacement) however, paid for a descriptive face inverter, (has menu scroll etc) but have original style. App is really bad, days missing, abb say they are working on system? Would I recommend it to others, no way.

Abb solar inverter – Abb uno dam 5.0 tl plus sb qu is the model name for the single phase 5kw inverter. A warning to anyone in the market for this inverter, it will break within 6 months of install date and Abb will send you a old refurbished unit even tho you have payed for a new one. Myself being a electrical contractor have had 20 warranty jobs for these exact units and Abb send out old refurbished units. Be warned
