from where i left messages. I soon realised it wasn’t going to be easy to find someone to attend to my problem. However!! fortunately for me I phoned Abco Plumbing Solutions. They are not joking when they say 24 hours a day and 365 days a year. Phone was answered promptly by someone who could help me. I got action! They were very busy that day but kept me informed and the owner himself - Alexander - came out to see my problem - well after ordinary hours plus knew exactly what to do - he also followed through on his assurances and even calmed me down. Professionalism, knowledge, action and no crap. Didn’t take me long to realise my problem was in very good hands. I was so impressed. I would highly recommend to my friends and family.

Prompt service when let down by other companies – With the recent heavy rains, my storm water drainage could not handle it and my back garden started flooding. contacted, I looked online and phoned ABCO Plumbing. Alex answered the phone and I told him about my problem. He told me he was doing a job nearby and could be at my place in about 2 hours. Alex arrived, saw the problem and gave me a price to do a Jet Wash through the drainage system. When I agreed the price, he said he would do it there and then. Unfortunately, he hit a blockage about 30 feet from the road and was able to locate the position of the blockage and mark it on the lawn. He gave me a price to dig up and repair the pipes, remove the blockage and insert an Inspection Pipe in the area to assist any future problems. The next morning, Ra arrived and quickly dug down to the pipes and exposed the area where roots had broken into the pipes. He removed about 30 feet of roots from my pipes then repaired the pipe and inserted the Inspection Pipe before filling in the hole and relaying the turf which he had carefully removed and placed aside. I have used ABCO for other work on my sewage system since and have found all their workers to be polite and very helpful. In particular, Ra has been very helpful advising me what I could do in other areas to improve the drainage of my property. I would recommend Alex and his team to anyone who has drainage problems.

$99 Fixed Price to Unblock Sewer Pipe costs me $363 – $99 Fixed price that cost me $363 I used these plumbers to do a simple unblock of a drain from my ensuite, I have done this a number of times with an electric eel which I hire for $65 and including pick up and return takes a couple of hours. paper, from this I found out that the fixed price can only include cleaning with a plunger. Obviously, I wouldn't need a plumber to do that I could do it myself so I called ABCO Plumbing Solutions and specifically asked if the price included the use of an electric eel, [Name removed] assured me that it did. This I copied and pasted from the "Business Overview" on the local paper's website.

"Blocked Drains Fixed Price $99 / Flat rate complete job using Water Jet, EEL, CCTV"

It looked like the price would be $99, anyway, they turned up only half an hour after appointed time and I showed [Name removed] where the pipe that needed to be cleaned was. Then surprise, the $99 did not include the electric eel, in fact, he tells me they do not use the electric eel anymore that is too old fashioned. He, however, has this great new water blaster which he can use for $180 (plus GST which he did not mention at the time). I should have told him to go away at the time, but I fell into his trap since he was there I begrudgingly said for him to go ahead. Well, he plugged in the hose to his water jet and started the motor, put the hose from the water jet into the sewer pipe and within a few minutes cleared the pipe. Then he pulled out jet hose and it got stuck, so rather than feeding it back in and trying to gently extract it he proceeded to yank on the hose until it was well and truly jammed. After yanking at it for sometime he hits me up for another $150 for the camera so he can see why his hose will not come out, I didn't want to pay for this because the only use to me would be if I was to get the pipe relined and then the relining company would use their own camera to see where they needed to work. So four and a half hours later with assistance from another 2 plumbers [Name removed] finally gets his jet out and my $99 job has cost me $363 which I reluctantly paid, with [Name removed]'s assurance that they were a quality plumbing service.

Today I went around and replaced inspection covers and retaining wall bricks that had been removed by the quality plumbers, tomorrow I will repair the flushing mechanism for the en-suite toilet which worked until these guys turned up. To add insult to injury [Name removed] called me Bob after every second sentence, I don't know whether I am more annoyed at their incompetency or my idiocy for not giving them their marching orders after the first lie.

Helped with a 1am call out for my tenants busted hot water unit and was able to isolate the water and power safely. Thank you Alex for your assistance with such a difficult and challenging situation.

Very happy with the same day replacement including disposal of old broken unit, quick response and damage mitigation. Fantastic customer service with polite, clear communication. Turned a disaster into an inconvenience!

Sorry to say - hopeless service! – First day service was okay. When follow-up service was required they were (after many weeks of promises) nowhere to be seen. In the end, I had to book another plumber. Nice enough blokes - just poor service.

Unscrupulous plumbers – Do not use or trust ABCO Plumbing Solutions, servicing Sutherland Shire Sydney. They arrived onsite, inspected only, no work commenced, they took $100 as down payment to return the following day to fix a job that needed a part. not return the following day, nor did he answer any of my calls. Unable to get a hold of him. Very unscrupulous, I have lodged a complaint with Fair Trading. They are licensed and have so many other glorious reviews, so I was too quick to trust. Blatant theft.

Not Happy – Workmanship carried out required additional cost to repair and complete properly. Very poor time management, continually changing time arrangements and very late when did arrive. Alex was very polite and apologized for the situation but I could not recommend his services.

Great job during stressful time – We had an emergency request to connect the washing machine in our laundry room as we moved to new place and realised there wasn’t anything properly set up for the water tubes. Alex picked up our call and attended the job in a timely manner and efficient. It was really helpful during our stress time to move house. We will also get Alex to help us in the future.

Highly recommend – The service was wonderful; we had a clogged toilet which was quite serious, and he managed to unclog it in less than fifteen minutes. Very kind and courteous - and made us all feel very at ease.

Replacement of a damaged drain pipe – Good Work. Alex quickly identified the cause of our blocked drain pipe that runs from our yard to the curb. Using his camera he found that tree roots broke the pipe. His men replaced it quickly, professionally and left no mess . I will definitely use ABCO again.

Responds to your phone call and Good workmanship – We needed a plumber to fix a burst pipe and decided to use the Hipages app. We receive several calls immediately. After speaking to three plumbers, we decided to go with Alex from ABCO as he was thorough and explain every detail of what is required to fix the burst pipe underneath the cement slab. Alex and Eddy was really easy to liase with, they were honest and prompt. We are happy with their workmanship and highly recommend them.
