Accura Mechanical

First time alarm didn't ring. Other times alarm rings for barely 1 second. Disappointing!! – I was specifically looking for a simple mechanical timer...in RED. Found this one and was told it was a good brand. First test failed. Ticked its way down to zero....but absolutely NO ALARM. Tried a second time for a longer time...and this time the alarm sounded but barely noticeable. VERY SHORT! Tested again...same result. It cost me about $13 and I will be returning it tomorrow. Maybe this one is faulty, but won't risk it. I'll be looking for something better...which I don't expect will be hard. Well...it's Red. Looked nice. Magnetic base. Practically useless! I would certainly suggest a full test if you want to take a risk. Magnet us almost useless. Alarm is...what alarm?!
