Accusound PS100 5.1

2024 review – Just bought an entire 6-piece set of Accusound PS100 5.1 ... second hand. Far exceeded my quality expectations, especially the Floor Standing Mains (8" woofer & port, 2 x 4" mids, 3" tweeter) and 10" Sub. Run through a frequency sweep test and confirm sound pressure levels (SPL) kicking in from 30Hz to 20kHz. Entire set is spec'd @ 8ohms, 150Wrms, 88dB. Feels about right. Multmeter on all (except sub) confirms 7.6 to 8.1 Ohms. Connected my old, reliable, powerful Yamaha RX-V800 receiver. WOW, I want to re-watch all my old DTS / Dolby Digital blurays again. I had a decent set of Yamahas and Digital Reference (Australian made) speakers to begin with which are still awesome, but these Australian-made Accusounds have blown me away. Audio depth, clarity and balance, as a system. Love em.

best sound for your lounge room – after listening to many different amp and speaker combinations of many price ranges the best sound quality came from a yamaha amp driving the ps 100 pack.i am very very fussy when it comes to high quality sound and this combo was the clear winner above all other brands regardless of price.aussie made speakers too which is even better.cost efficient and you wont get better sound.
