Bad – 1200 Bucks and about a month out of warranty started to play up, had 2x hdd changed still didn't fix it, cpu shop changed a few diodes still didn't fix it, power pack replaced. Gpu Replaced. Still stuffed, works fine till you try to watch a video or play a game. Very disappointed. Overall, worked great while it actually worked but the prce and amount on repairs to still have a dud. = very poor. Gave it 2 stars coz it worked ok for a year.

Terrible – Waste of time and waste of money. Don't bother. This computer spends more time off than on and I would never buy another Acer ever. Nothing, it is a piece of crap...freezes, crashes and now won't start up at all. This computer is less than 8 months old and I was prepared to put up with the constant blue screens, the freezing and subsequent… Read more

restarts but now it won't start up at all. I've been buying top of the line computers since 1986 and this would have to be the bigggest piece of crap I ahve ever paid money for.

Terrible – Initially I had constant problems with this PC. WAs forever having to get on to service. Very difficult to deal with. First time I sent it away it was returned exactly the same. They said they had been running it and found no problem. I kept telling them there was a problem with blue screen and crashing etc. Finally after 5 months of waiting it… Read more

was fixed. Don't know what they did but it is OK now. Think they replaced nearly the whole lot of the works including mother board etc. I really think I had a lemon and they seemed to agree with me. They gave me an extra warranty as it had been away so long. Would not buy another Acer though as no one can service them where I live. Not much to like Constant blue screen & crashes.Disconnections.

Good – As reliable as anything else on the market. It's not the cheapest desktops around but it does offer good value for money. Works well, speedy and having used it for 6 months has been completely reliable. Never had a reason to call or ask for help. Works seemlessly with window based programs although some games can be a little slow with supplied… Read more

graphic card. It's reliable just like any good computer brand products. Acer is one of the leading manufacturers of computers at the moment and it does the job. It has incorporated many of it's own partner programs onto the Window platform, some of which offers upto 3 months free trial like anti-virus and back-up programs. Hooked up with a Samsung LCD monitor, the display is good, runs program very quickly and has good upgradability. It has in its compact design packed numerous input sources so it can connect to any storage device currently availble on the market. It will fit SD cards of all shapes and sizes and has at least 4 USB ports. Those incorporated free trial programs such as Norton and McAfee virus and back-up programs get really annoying once the trial program is over constantly sending reminder pop-ups to offer and you will be bombarded with discount deals etc. Fan noise can be a little noticeable sometimes but not as bad as some other computers. the DVD/Blu-ray player opens the outer box lid as it comes out which can sometimes caught together. Not the cheapest. But sure value for money.

Excellent – First off I never did see the Acer case only the motherboard and CPU along with the power supply After cleaning the dust off removing the CPU everything seems okay Thinking why not so I took a older PC case removed everything and installed the Acer motherboard in even the Acer two rail 300w PSU little low output finding no manual or… Read more

instructions I managed to figure out the pin configuration to turn the moterboard on Wow look this works.

The first few try's to install XP Pro faild then Vista ultima faild each time this message ask for a driver?

and No drivers for USA ACER to be found!!

So we went to Craiglist and buy this CD ACER upgrade DVD 64bit $30.00

After adding the $25.000 DVD and 1x2 DDR2 That cost me $10.00

two hours later Windows 7 seems to work great on the SATA 250 gig Maxtor another cost of $15.00

Windows 7 reports performaces lowest 5.1 and highest 5.4

Clean install found all the Drivers. This my New ACER salvage machine Who knows this motherboard may have come from somone whinning ACER is no good if so thank you great motherboard and is working good where is the case please? Great motherboards

Looking for more bad ACER computers I find most people that have computer problems is what called "OM" operator malfunction every day people say things good or bad most not having the skills to open a computer will be first to place bad reviews when (OM)

Acer could improve sources for drivers and manuals other than that ACER is a good product
