pets at home and want to ensure a safe temperature while you are out. I'm looking forward to a class action as it is evident I'm not alone in my experience. Actron has not been proactive in resolving the software failure and refuses to make the app open source for other developers to fix their problem. Only gave one star because zero is not an option.

Very Disappointed – Had our Actron ESP plus unit installed in our new home in November 2022, managed to get the Connect module to work once in December. Since then tried the tech help line, then Actron sent a tech out, replaced the module and still could not resolve. Had to engage another company to finally get the module to connect. company because actron says it’s not a warranty issue as it was to do with modem settings. Not a complicated Wi-Fi network. Just a standard Telstra modem. Will be lodging a complaint with Actron directly. Actual heating and cooling is fantastic. Just the extra technology is very poor.

This App and controller is absolute rubbish – It drops off,won’t connect to the Cloud..no heating ..no cooling and just paid $24000 two weeks ago for new system. This is an appalling product which is useless with winter coming up and litigation will now commence

Always offline when you need it – You sign up with your email address but get no notification when the app is down. Sometimes the app looks like it is working but it doesn't actually talk to your air. Wouldn't have it if it wasn't part of our new build

Actron Connect No Longer Works – I had My Actron ESP Plus ducted system installed two years ago. The app worked fine for the first 12 months. Now I get a message saying the app is to old for my phone and there are no updates available. I spent the extra money to have phone access and the app longer works

Actron connect to worth the money – Actron connect was a big selling point when we purchase the actor on unit over other brands, however it has been nothing but problems from the time it was installed with ongoing intermittent faults. If you are looking to purchase an actron and the actron connect is a selling point, I would look elsewhere it's not worth it

Wifi connect unreliable – We've had the Aktron air-conditioner and remote wi-fi activation since May. Have had technician out 3 times already. This weekend the internet went down and the air-conditioning could not be turned on. Also, the settings change spontaneously and it's infuriating. 3 or 4 times. Even went from Warm to Cooling on its own. Also, the App shows the air is on whens it isn't. The App shows it needs to be turned on and when you look at the zones they are reading 'red' as though it is on. The system is shocking. Avoid the App under all circumstances.

Its ok but need smarts – Got our Actron Connect with the Actron ESP Plus as part of a new home. The Actron Connect app is ok and does all the basics. Would have been good to have some smarts built in like conditional logic to switch on the AC when indoor temp reaches a certain level, etc... had some psuedo IFTTT automation done using web requests copied from using the Actron Connect web interface but it no longer supported. Would be great to add native integration to smart hub solutions so the AC can integrate with the rest of our smart home.

It works and serves its purpose – Actron connect works and is great in many ways, but the app is quite gluggy and needs updating. We love that we can turn the aircon on when coming home, but it is rather slow sometimes to connect.

Excellent Aircon System – Excellent aircon system with an iPhone app. Easy control with multiple zones. customer service very helpful and informative. Would recommend app developers to try to link it to google home or amazon. Show reply

Convenient app with some bugs – The WiFi module was installed by a tech very quickly. Setting up an Actron connect account was also super easy. Downloaded the app on my phone and now it's super convenient to control the aircon. My only problem with the application is that it's buggy. Taps don't register all the time. timer function on the app does not sync with the aircon timer function. It's just a timer in the application that sends a signal to the aircon to turn off/on after the set time runs out. Can be a problem if there is a timer set directly on the aircon control panel display. This is also a problem when operating remotely from more than one device.
