Acumentis

Acumentis Inverell quoted me for an evaluation & after I paid they then decided I needed to pay another $900 on top of the quoted price. Naturally I used another company but Acumentis wasted my time & delayed my settlement by 4 days. They blamed a new employee for trying to overcharge me but as if a new employee would be dictating pricing with no supervision. Very unprofessional.
Took a month to come back to me with a quotation despite my sending multiple follow-ups. Save youe time, and ultimately money, and approach a genuine business instead.
We recently had Acumentis Property Valuers allocated by our bank to value our property for a refinance. Booking was promt and at a time that suited us. Valuer was on time and professional. Whilst the report took longer than expected to be completed, the valuation came back exceeding our expectations and enabled us to refinance to our desired… Read more
limit. The valuer was thorough and took on board the improvements we had completed in the 5 years since we purchased the property.
I’ve had a disappointing experience with Acumentis over the past few days. I’ve been trying to get a response regarding a valuation that appeared to be significantly undervalued, but despite multiple follow-ups, I received no reply. When I finally managed to speak with someone over the phone, I was met with an unhelpful and unpleasant attitude.… Read more
The representative was dismissive, impatient, and came across as arrogant—hardly what you’d expect when trying to resolve a professional concern.
What upset me most was being told that referencing another valuation firm’s report could be considered "illegal." I'm not sure if this is accurate, but the tone in which it was said felt more like a threat than helpful guidance.
I genuinely expected better service, professionalism, and a willingness to review or at least discuss the matter constructively. Unfortunately, this was not my experience.
Heavily undervalued property – We bought an apartment off the plan 4 years before completion. At completion there were 6 sales of directly comparable units - 2 had the same floor plan without the extra 12 square metres garden we have and they all settled at between 7 and 11 percent more than our contract value. There was also a sale prior to completion which was nearly 20%… Read more
greater than ours. Yet the valuer wouldn't budge from the contract value sale price resulting in heavy undervaluation of our property. I discovered they were a real estate agent prior to becoming a valuer so lying and doing whatever benefits the client most (the bank) would be second nature to them. Weak as ***s
Lack of Knowledge and commitment – Acumentis Cairns sent out by the bank for evaluation for Refinance, showed no interest in the property, was in and out in a very short time, evaluation was around 300 to 400k out on current market, was more then what we needed but that's not the point, the most underperformed evaluation I've seen, showed pure lack on knowledge and commitment to… Read more
obtaining the correct assessment, In future valuations we will never let this company step foot on our property's.
Albury: Wildly inaccurate, arrogant and incompetent – After having another valuation company and a real estate value my house, Acumentis in Albury was engage for a 3rd valuation. The person that turned up was rude and arrogant. I tried to explain to him instructions from the solicitors, but he cut me off ranting about how HE works for my solicitors, at which I had to insist he listen as I had… Read more
instructions from the solicitors for him. He didn't like this at all and insisted in doing the outside inspection first without me. Once he did that, I walked around with him and pointed out issues, many of which he had missed. Then the report came, he was $155,000 ABOVE the other valuation and $105,000 above the real estate! The report was vague, inaccurate in places and just missing major information. This was raised with Acumentis and they completely dismissed it refusing to answer questions on how the valuation was compiled and why information was missing. AVOID them at all costs.
something about a 30 foot pole – useless and rude - got the value wrong by at least $110,000, made so many arrogant and snooty comments in the report. Many errors in the report including not getting the number of bedrooms and building materials correct. Pompous statements and then photos that were just pointless - took a picture of our laundry tub that had a few rags and a mop… Read more
in it and took the worst photo of the garage that made it look so bad - like those cranky old rental inspectors from back in the day that just point out useless info and then get their back up when you tell them off.
Very low valuation – I am looking at refinancing and the bank sent Acumentis Gold Coast to do the valuation. I know that bank valuations are conservative but this valuation was well off considering that we had 3 Real Estate valuations in the last 3 months (1 of them 3 weeks ago) with the minimum starting range $50k up to $200k above this valuation. I have seen other… Read more
similar sized houses in the area that have sold and they are far above this valuation. Lucky for us we are under the Debt to Equity ratio we need but I would not recommend them. I would love to go to their house and see what value they come up for their own property!
Acumentis (valuation) Brisbane – we have a very bad experience with Acumentis, the valuer from Acumentis Brisbane Pty Ltd who registration No: 5035. In summary: vey poor work quality, very poor service, and always not response client sent emails.
Arrogant and discourteous – A couple of days ago I was advised by my Real Estate agent that the buyer of my property had hired Acumentis to evaluate it. I asked the agent to request Acumentis contact me direct. They didn’t and left it up the agent to supply me with the time of the valuer’s visit. When the time came and I was talking to my property manager on-site I watched… Read more

Thank you – Thanks for your assistance, we found Shane to be prompt and accurate, highly recommended these guys
They made this so eassssy – My accountant requested I get a sworn valuation for capital gain tax reason. I emailed Acumentis and received a quote within one hour which was reasonable. They inspected the property two days later and the following day the report was provided to myself and cc’d to my accountant at the same time. It made the experience soo easy. Could not recommend highly enough.

Know better, choose better.
Completely useless valuation firm – This firm doesn’t communicate or have a point of contact, never get back to you, further they don’t know how to value properties correctly. Usually come back much under all other valuation firms. Just stay away.
No response for three phone calls and two email - Poor Poor Poor effort – If you need a valuation, I would avoid this company. Could not get a response for three phone calls and two email, that includes a phone call direct to the valuer. Acumentis is a valuation firm that I have not heard before and our first experience was so poor that we will now avoid the banks who uses them.
Idiotic Property Valuers – After being requested to value my property on behalf of loans.com.au, Acumentis decided that it was best that, in the middle of a pandemic, they send some random person around to my house who spends all her time going into other random houses. Going to be following her around blasting Glen20. It is 2021 - How is it that this needs to be done in… Read more
person? Mid pandemic? Literally don't care about the valuation. Doesn't matter.
Their own website and offices have COVID restrictions and warnings, but no, its fine, just send a pile of random people into random other peoples houses. What could go wrong?
You people are the definition of stupidity.
