Fast and careful. Acted in a very professional manner and treated all the items they moved very well. Communication was good and easily placed items where instructed when doing the drop off.

hadn't confirmed the job of receipt of my deposit. They claim the date for the move indicated on the quote was not firm, it was just a suggestion until it was confirmed. The admin processes in this company are atrocious. They can never keep track of the money coming in, even when you send them receipts, they will still insist the money isn't paid.

Worst moving experience I've ever had. Despite booking the largest truck, paying extra for our piano to be moved interstate, men turned up and immediately talked about how our belongings 'might not fit'. nothing further'. Then offered to charge us an additional ~ $1500 to come the next day and pick up the remaining items and put on a back load 4 weeks later. Didn't have the appropriate equipment to move the piano either. Completely left us in the lurch 24 hours before having to vacate our home, with no apology or offer to support our additional storage costs in Sydney (where a bunch of our belongings now remain...). Cannot recommend under any circumstances.

Adams & Rofe Removals & Storage employees are professional at start to finish from the first phone call to the removalists. Frank and his team arrived on time were friendly, took great care in your items, and work well together which overall creates a successful move. I would highly recommend this company to move all of your household items, as you know you are getting people that take care in your items just like you do.

Frank and his team were professional and very obliging the entire day. It was a long day under somewhat difficult circumstances. An old house with lots of stairs and sharp bends, they managed our relocation with efficiency and good humour.

at 8am and finished at 4pm, which is 8 hours. There is no mention on the invoice about time travel to and from the site, I am aware that the charge is from/to the depot but that is 10-15 minutes away, which would make the total time 8.5 hours, with 30 minutes of travel.

However there were numerous times that I witnessed either of the removalists on their phone while the other was moving items, this causing the move to slow down as both could have been moving items/boxes. (See attached images of example).

While unloading at the new premise I had to run back to the old premise for 20-25 minutes. When I returned one of the removalists was sitting in the truck on a break and the other was in the bathroom. It's fine for them to use the bathroom but they were in the for a good 15-20 minutes watching videos and unknown how long they had been there before I got back.

After unloading the first load at the new premise, they drove back to the old premise (30 seconds down the road) via the shops to get drink and food, which added another 15-20 minutes to the charge.

If there was only one thing then I wouldn't complain as I know it is a hard job moving items all day but there are multiple things that add up to additional hours being added to the move, which then is a cost to myself. I know there is no way a client would pay me on an hourly rate if everytime they looked up I was walking on my mobile phone.

Lasly, the email states that we could pay on the day via a credit card or cash. But as this move took double the amount of time than we expected (based on moving into the property) we didn't have that much cash on hand. The removalist was very pushy and expected payment on the spot and couldn't take a credit card because the office was closed. Reluctantly I was forced to pay via bank transfer as the option to go draw cash wasn't possible.

We have used your services in the past and have had no issues, this is why we came straight to you for this move but this last experience has not been unacceptable.

Will let you discuss with the removalist about the correct hours that should have been charged for and wait for you response.

Avoid at all cost – Absolutely disgusting. Had so many items stolen after storing at their warehouse and then transported to my new home .I have valued items stolen at around $3000 but when I told them of the situation they weren't interested. Don't use them if you value your possessions

Unhappy – Recently I arranged for A/R as removalist to take furniture from Tomago to Wilton. I was not happy at all with the services supplied to me . location of screws , their answer was they had no idea where they are and suggested I go to bunnings and buy more at my cost.Being a 78 year old women on my own I had no idea what screws I needed further more I now have to pay someone to put them together for me.

Unreliable – I asked for a early start and they gave me a timeframe for start time. They confirmed the early start time. Only to call me just a few days before my move to tell me that they booked another job before me so my job has to be pushed back at a later time. only allow move within a specific timeframe. I had to cancel and try to find another removalist at the last minute adding to my stress during move. Avoid!

Shocking removalists – We engaged this "business" to move 2 houses full of the usual furniture, fridges etc. from Bowral to the central coast. Both removals were underquoted by a full truck load. removal was much larger and a total disaster. We were told to expect them between 8 and 9 in the morning. By 10 they had not arrived so we rang the office and were told they had a problem with the truck loader and would be there in about another hour. They arrived after 11. The head office did not bother to advise us, we had to chase them up. Within an hour the removalists decided we would not fit in 2 trucks and we needed another large truck. Despite being quite specific about how large the move would be they underquoted. They then demanded another $2,500 to send another truck. We had no option but to pay and just get the move done as we had the handover the following day for the new owners. The head office could not care less! They argued that their quote was accurate. The extra truck arrived at 6pm. We were also charged an extra $500.00 for them to store our goods overnight because they could not deliver the load the next day. Another money grab!!! Both removals suffered substantial damage, scratched and broken furniture, broken heavy duty plastic tubs, a leg completely snapped off one of our antique dining chairs, a missing drawer out of a drinks cabinet, wrecked plants and broken garden ornaments. The antique chair was taken to be repaired. We have had to call them a number of times to follow this up. We still do not have the chair back, nor have we ever received any kind of apology. How can you underquote by a complete truck load on both removals???? Do not use this firm!! They are extremely unprofessional cowboys!!

never recovered. When I address the matter with these [content removed] that call themselves removalist, they respond with belittling and condasending remarks of denial. Livid to the core with their snarly arrogance. When I read the online reviews Im blown away on how disrespectful they are to all their customers who have suffered damages from these heartless [content removed]. Also noted that their reviews became inundated with positive remarks which is obviously their friends being asked to do so. I'm baffled how they are still allowed to trade as removalist, where us the justice and protection for the consumers. I have supplied them the evidence of their disgraceful negligence, [content removed], called their bluff and they just dont care. I'm pretty sure ACA had a story about them 3 - 5 years ago. All removalists should be credited after an extensive training course before being allowed to trade as such. Everyone's doing it tough and the last thing we need is to have to find funds to repair or replace household items because of [content removed]. I also feel if a company is appointed regardless if the service, they should conduct the service or advice the customer of any changes weather they own the other party or not. No one should be aloud [content removed] buy a truck and call themselves removalists then act with such disrespect to the customer and their belongings. Reading the bad reviews on line, I shook my head in dismay, consumers should not be threatened if not happy with a service.

I have photos upon photo's of the negligent handling of my belongings and feel if nothing else, the public should be warned about this company that should be forced to cease trading. Fake good reviews is an old trick from the 80's asking friends and family to write fake reviews
