This is a stand alone clamp and does not have to be used in conjunction with anything else. Excellent product. Sturdy, definitely not a lightweight. Found more uses for it than I thought I would! Folds up like it should. Mechanism is top quality. The 3 legs mean it's much easier to set up on uneven ground. Can't fault it.
