ALDI Farmwood Chicken Wing Nibbles

Aldi kills the Golden...Chicken! Great product turns bad – [UPDATE: Maybe this product was NEVER that great. I recently tried the WW version of this style of chicken: southern-style nibbles. It is 5x better (far far more meaty and a slightly richer flavour. It makes this Aldi version look like a sad imitation Can't believe I EVER thought it was good. Rating downgraded.] Reputations are hard-won but easily lost. I'm shocked that Aldi seems to have deliberately downgraded the quality of a product that was so great - all to make a small bit of extra profit. These chicken pieces used to be delicious and reasonably generous. Yet in just over a few weeks they've become stingy and almost inedible: * There is now very little meat on the bone. * Instead they've increased the breadcrumbs, apparently to disguise this * There seems to be a lot more bone * It breaks up into hard crunchy inedible pieces. I used to really enjoy these. Now they provide little satisfaction while being almost a chore to eat. Honestly, does Aldi really think we won't notice? I will never buy them again, apart from seeing if they've fixed it in maybe six months.
