What has happened to Aldi forrester peanuts. They use to be on par with nobbys but now bag after bag they are all the same dry, tasteless with only minimal salt. Tried buying different batches but no more Show details

Used to be the best peanuts around. First Nobbys and now Forresters have obviously switched to over sees peanuts which are transported half way around the world. No wonder they taste so bad. It's a false economy to start using cheap peanuts as eventually you will be out of business when you lose your customers. Better off living with less profits but at least run a sustainable business selling a quality product. Show details

All I can say is that those criticising these nuts are nuts themselves. I've grown up with Kingaroy Australian grown Peanuts which are harder to come by now, and I've sampled those horrible things that Woolworths and Coles sell that are imported from Vietnam. These Aldi ones are full of that roasted nut flavour and I suspect that they probably get them from Kingaroy. I didn't know about that really but I can tell you that they're d^mn tasty.

Very average quality nut in terms of flavour but probably above average in size. I like a very sharp salty finish on I just don’t get that with these nuts. Very Slack on salt quality & flavour. Overall I would not buy… Read more

these peanuts again nor would I recommend them. Not a disgusting peanut but could be so much more, these maybe could be okay for a party bowl of peanuts just as a nibbler with some friends but not a daily peanut. Cheers.

It pays to shop around – I’ve eaten Nobby’s salted peanuts from Coles for years and thought I’d try Forrester’s. I was surprised how much fresher and better they tasted. Show details
