Okay for the price, but leaves a lot to be desired. Problems: - The trim around the bottom edge of the helmet was falling off from day 1. No type of glue is successful for gluing it back on, it is made of some sort of weird synthetic rubber. - Every time I pick this helmet up I am having to reset various items back into their correct positions as… Read more

the helmet seems to be very good at doing an auto disassembly. - The padding inside below the ears is too high and kills my ears. - Wearing standard glasses with this helmet is painful. - Helmet internal shape appears to be a "round", which has told me my head is an "oval". More than 15 - 20 minutes of use starts a headache. - Getting replacement parts - good luck with that.

Otherwise: - A cheap way into having a helmet. - Internal retractable tinted sun visor, BUT, like them all, does not come down low enough so you get a band of bright light across the bottom of your vision, which means you still have to wear sun glasses, but wearing glasses with this helmet is painful. - Micrometric buckle, I prefer compared to "D" loops. - Comes with a storage sleeve. - Comes with a spare clear visor.

Update: April 2025. I noticed today that the fabric (or whatever it is actually) that sits around the padding on the bottom of the helmet is crumbling. It appears to be some sort of artificial rubberised material. Putting the helmet on and off means that the inside of the helmet (which is a nice artificial suede) gets contaminated by the grumble dust and it also ends up all over me. I also noticed that the nose shroud, which is an artificial rubber had been glued to the again artificial rubber insert that sits immediately in front of my mouth. This glue had failed and the 2 objects are now no longer bonded. The glue appears to be the same substance as used on the bottom edge trim of the helmet itself which, as mentioned above, has also de-bonded. It would appear that these helmets use some sort of artificial rubber/soft plastic that cannot be successfully glued.

For the money unbeatable – Still using my Aldi helmet bought 3 years ago. Only put on the 2nd visor yesterday as I remembered it comes with a spare visor. I do have a brand new Aldi helmet bought last year still in the cupboard. At $80, you cannot go wrong. Comfortable, quiet, built in sun visor, racket system chin strap, doesn’t seem to steam up and yes I will continue to… Read more

buy a new old each year. The glue on the rubber at bottom of where the visor shuts did come undone. Took a bit of mucking around but finally fixed with better quality glue and no problems thereafter. $80 remember for a compliant new helmet, and would recommend to at least give it a go.

Very comfortable. Well vented, great design, standards aerodynamic rubber edges glue is a completely waste, rubbish – Very comfortable. Well vented, great design, standards aerodynamic for air flow. Silent, Great price. The glue used on the rubber edges is a completely waste, rubbish. Once out of the warranty you have to put it back together. If under the warranty aldi always assist you, return, refund , credit notes...and deals with the manufacturer. Works… Read more

well in Europe but the Australian sun hits it hard. Best option is to buy a $400.00 helmet or get a strong compound glue, clean the area, mask it, glue it. Then you will have a good helmet.

Falling apart day 1 – Looks great, well priced with descent features BUT unboxed it today & it is coming apart. It’s been stored inside for 6 months in its box. I hope I can glue it myself. I won’t buy another Aldi helmet. Show details

Exceptionally good for the price – Bought one from Aldi today for $29.99 (Torque V124 full face). Can't be beaten for that. Included carry bag and a spare visor. (Visors alone these days in bike shops cost about 50 bucks). I like the ratchet strap lock (instead of double D lock). Quick and easy to use. The inbuilt sun visor is an added bonus. So far, i am very happy with it. Good one Aldi Show details

Aldi V124 motorcycle helmet 2021 – This helmet is extremely good value for what you get. Anything else will cost 300-400 with the features it has. Integrated flip down sun visor, chin curtain and a spare visor! Looks quite good and modern. Nice finish and has a fairly quality look and feel. So it really is a winner on the value front. Now for the bad. It just isn't that… Read more

comfortable. It feels a bit rough on your head. My forehead pushes on the helmet and it's not nice. The helmet itself is quite large, which some may not like, and despite this it feels like it doesn't come down low enough to cover your chin and a bit more of your neck. It is really noisy! Constant wind noise at all speeds even with a neck warmer tucked in. Ear plugs are needed with this helmet. So I'm not particularly enjoying this helmet because of the comfort and the high noise level. Sun visor is great though. Only has ratchet chin strap which is convenient but I would have preferred double D ring which can't be beaten. Also excess chin strap does not have a fastening clip so I had to chop mine off so it doesn't flap about in the breeze. So great value but would say it's best as a spare helmet or if you don't ride very much.

Pretty good at the moment – I have had for over 12 months and it has been working well and has met all my expectations, haven't died yet so it does its job. Would recommend to people needing a helmet. Well done Aldi, for making a great product :) Show details
