Best product in a bottle. Unlike the soggy slices in Woolys or Coles. Show details
This is the best beetroot slices I’ve had. Almost feel like you are eating it fresh. Sadly some people want everything soft.. of course we are Australians. Show details
This beetroot has made my toddler really sick. Do not buy it. Be very aware of what you buy from Aldi and its origins. Inferior product from China.
Like chewing on someone's tongue – Quite appalling. Sorry Aldi this is terrible: tough, fibrous, tasteless and discoloured beetroot. They've obvs used the oldest stalest beetroots still outside the compost heap. Out of the jar, each slice is big, thin, floppy and looks like a bruised tongue; not my own... maybe the neighbour's dog... Jaw exercise to chew it, but little satisfaction in the result: a mouth full of flavourless wood pulp. Gagggh no. The pickle juice is OK Show details
Best beetroot I have tasted – Best beetroot in jar/can that I have tasted. Very natural and not over flavoured like all other beetroot. My partner agrees and he is a beetroot connoisseur. Great texture also…not soft and soggy to bite into. All down to personal taste of course. Show details

Rubber Beetroot – Absolutely disgusting rubber like beetroot. Aldi stop stocking this substandard Chinese food. Unpleasant risky food
Crunchy sliced beetroot, lacking flavour - shame because the jar format is really handy – I have to agree with the others - bought the Aldi New Season Sliced Beetroot because it was new on the shelves, it was in a jar so good to put back in the fridge between meals - but unfortunately it doesn't have much flavour and it is either undercooked or it's just tough beetroot (not sure how they managed that). It's from China - not sure if… Read more
the Chinese typically eat beetroot so maybe they're not sure how best to prepare it. We'll finish this jar but won't buy it again.
Disgusting rubbish! – Aldi canned and jarred beetroot used to be nice but not anymore. The beet juice stings your throat and the flavor is similar to a weak cough mixture to me. I like Aldi but as an Aussie who loves beetroot i take this as an insult and disrespect that you sell this rubbish to us! No more will i buy this inferior rubbish! Show details
Half cooked beetroots in the can & bottle. New season sliced beetroots – Hi just tried this product found it not so nice, actually it was like chewing raw beetroots, quite discussing actually and did not have the beautiful tastes of canned beetroots in my opinion tried the bottle one as well and it's the same ( tastes like crap) won't be buying this again , sorry Aldi you are my favourite shop , I love beetroots but not this brand. Aldi horrible beetroot – Aldi has a new beetroot product in a glass jar, sourced from China. It is disgusting. Does not taste like beetroot, or anything really. Almost tasteless. Also is thin and curled up, and crisp.. Eats like a slice of thin apple. I don't think anybody will buy a second jar.. I took mine back for a refund.
