Bought these pegs a while ago. Easy Home logo/brand. They have been in a cupboard inside their bag. Recently as my other pegs (10+ years usage) began to finally give up the ghost, I got out these Easy Home pegs. After putting one load on the line, 3 pegs broke… I had to discard them. Each wash now, more Pegs break. Four washes later I can’t use… Read more

them as they are unreliable and many are in the bin. Each wash at least 4 more pegs break. They are kept inside in a peg basket. The metal parts are still shiny and new and the plastic likewise but of what use is that if they are not fit for purpose. Rubbish. Don’t buy. No receipt as I purchased them a while ago but a picture on today’s breakages with brand name available. One star is for their look only!!!! Hopefully they are no longer in stock or sold as I can see other reviews were from a while ago when I first purchased them.

Worst pegs ever. More than half broke within 2 uses. Why sell this JUNK? These pegs contribute to the plastic pollution problem and ALDI should do better. Do not buy!

I bought the Aldi plastic pegs. I also have expensive stainless steel pegs and others from Australian companies. I live in hot North Queensland where it is very windy. The Aldi pegs are the only ones that will keep sheets on the line. Have had them… Read more

for many months and if Aldi get more in I will definitely be buying more. I do not leave my pegs on the line, but take them off when the washing is dry.

Follow-up  · Haven't faded, but like I said they are not left on the line. They hold undies etc quite well.

BEST PEGS! PEOPLE ARE REVIEWING DIFFERENT ALDI PEGS HERE – Not sure why I think people are writing reviews for different types of pegs they need to check the photo that they are commenting on. Somebody has put a review on for metal pegs not the same as these. These are excellent pegs! They have been on the outdoor clothesline at the beach and hardly rust at all and do not break there my go-to-pegs at the… Read more

communal clothesline and I'm going to get some more because I'm using everyone else's. I have put a photo for the larger peg which is the one advertised here and a smaller one the smaller ones break all the time but these big sturdier ones always stay on the line and hold your clothes even in very windy conditions.

ABSOLUTE RUBBISH – Waste of $4 per pack Saw rhese on the special buy and thought they looked good.. They fall apart first squeeze and don't hold clothes on the line in a slight breeze

GOOD PEGS.NO ISSUES! – EASY HOME pegs. I bought a pac of these about 9 months ago. Totally reliable, not one has broken, and they hold the washing tight. I do NOT as many here, leave the pegs on the line to succumb to the elements. I put them in the peg basket and store them in the laundry. It's not hard and only takes the same amount of time as pegging them back on the line.

The Stainless Steel Pegs RUST!! – Don't buy the ALDI stainless steel pegs as they rust and rust badly. These have ruined several clothes. These are not premium quality. They are not rust and corrosion resistant. I have never seen anything rust so quickly. These have been kept in their bag and always stored inside the home when not in use.

Pegs break and the spring tears the item of clothing – I'd like to give the product 0 (zero) stars; regrettably, that's not an option. I bought an unopened bag of 24 ALDI soft grip clothes pegs donated to Salvos (Salvo price $5). On the first occasion, after pegging an item, one of the pegs snapped and left the spring gripping the cloth (and washing line). It tore the fabric when I tried to free it… Read more

from the spring. I had a look at the pegs' design and material. The construction is not fit for purpose.

Large EASY HOME pegs – The best ever pegs I've used. Worth the effort to write about. They came mixed with smaller pegs of similar shape. They are ok for small items. But the large pegs are great for everything!

YOU HAVE BEEN REVIEWING THE WRONG PEGS! – The photo of the pegs shown at the top of this thread of reviews, are NOT the ones being criticized here! There are some pegs going around now in Southeast Queensland, that are indeed, RUBBISH! They fall apart as soon as you squeeze them.... BUT the pegs shown above are the BEST pegs I have ever used! Compare my photo & LOOK in the bag! They never… Read more

fall apart, they grip well, they last longer than any wooden pegs! They will eventually snap though but after a couple of years in the elements! PLEASE ALDI...tell me when they are going to be available again!

Last 6 months – These pegs are rubbish. Every single one snapped at 6 months. The impact on the environment is so wasteful. These product makers and shop sellers should be fined by a global Environmental waste protection organisation. (I also have Revo pegs. Some say "Australia" (Australian made) and some say "genuine" (Made in China) on them. The Australia ones have lasted over 6 years. I hope the made in China ones last the same distance.)

Aldi Pegs – Bought a packet of pegs last week to top up my supply, used for second time today and three have already broken at the spring, waste of money and my time

Painful pegs – these pegs look good , however they don't last , the spring breaks , then the plastic ends . this all happens moments after opening the bag . total rubbish . after i phoned aldi they told me they have done much quality testing on them that is why they are still on the shelves . more rubbish .

Easy home pegs – We agree with others that these pegs are useless.I think the Aldi buyers missed the boat on these!! $1.99 is not a lot of money but I think they would have been better off spending a little bit more on a better product.Sorry Mr & Mrs Aldi (take these reviews in) please.Mostly products are better than this.!!!

I bought these pegs last week and used them this morning before work – I arrived home with half my washing on the ground. They are breaking in the middle of the spring. Previous ones have broken on the peg arms, usually after a few months outside. Think I will buy Coles or Woollies wooden ones, they last for years in the weather.

I agree, less than a week and five snapped – Worst pegs ever.....and from Aldi, a brand synonymous with quality. And I bought 4 bags, three unopened. Somebody didn't do their due diligence!!! It's not the cost, it's the inconvenience.

They break after one or two usage – I really thought Aldi would have at least tested these before marketing them. Seriously the product is total rubbish...please save yourself the $1.99. This is by far the worst item I have ever bought!

Fail after a few months in the sun – These things are cheap rubbish. The plastic (for all colour pegs) becomes as brittle as dry pasta after a few months in the sun. I guess they have no UV stabilisers. Other more expensive pegs from other supermarkets have lasted more than 5 years in the same conditions.

Not made for Australian conditions – I bought Aldi pegs about 6 months ago and most are now broken. I take my pegs off the line and store in a peg bucket between washes, so they haven't been in the sun continuously. I would have expected them to last longer - they're definitely not made for Australian conditions.
