So very disappointing, product nothing like packaging, mostly sauce and small chunks of meat, no need to fork it apart as direction number 5 suggests on the box. Sauce super sweet as well. Definitely won’t be purchasing this or any similar product again from Aldi Show details
Sorry Aldi, the beef brisket on special last week was super tough and disgusting when prepared as instructed. It was a bad piece of meat and we threw it out. Show details
Just got a bag of slop… where’s the meat you stingy rip off merchants. Don’t buy this garbage Show details
I purchased this from Woolworth, love pulled brisket and this looked quick and easy meal to prepare, which it was. Followed the cooking instructions to the letter however when I removed from the oven to pull apart using for and knife as per instructions it was just like a thick stew. So much cause with so little meat. Terrible meal, don't know what the rest of the range is but I will be giving them a miss.
Aldi pulled beef brisket with BBQ sauce: I love lots of sauce/gravy, they often don’t include enough…but this was nearly ALL sauce, not much meat to speak of. If you want a really nice sauce then get this, if you want some meat in there, look elsewhere. I provided a photo and it does look meatier, but this was after reducing the sauce for an hour and a half or more and I just stirred the meat to the surface. Nice sauce, but VERY little meat. There is minimal to no meat in the bag. Most of the "500g" comes from plastic bag weight, conjealed fat and sauce. Whoever is picking scraps off the processing floor and passing it for "brisket" for $18, is wilfully committing crimes against cooking and blatantly ripping off the public. DO NOT buy this product even if its reduced to $1 Show details
Tasty sauce but still looking for the meat without fat or sauce. This is pure slop Show details
I disagree with the previous comment, perhaps he/she was unlucky? I found this product to be very good, the meat tender and tasty. I thought the plentiful gravy a little sweet but otherwise thoroughly enjoyed it. Show details

Aldi Pulled Beef Brisket with BBQ Sauce - DISGUSTING FAT ! – I purchased this Pulled Beef Brisket from Aldi as it looked and sounded really good. It was to go in some Rolls with Salad. Started to cook it as required and partway through turned the meat over.... this is when I noticed that it was all congealed together but I thought maybe it was a lump of meat and it would just need to be pulled apart at… Read more
the end of cooking. When it was ready I COULD NOT get the meat to pull apart at all ....and to be honest I could not work out why !!! After a few minutes of trying to pull it apart to get it into the Rolls I gave up as 85% of the “MEAT” seemed to just be “GRISTLE”. I knew there was no way I was going to serve this up so I decided to wash the “MEAT” under the tap to get the BBQ sauce of it ……….. WHAT I SAW WAS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. The congealed meat wasn’t meat at all but just lumps of FAT and whatever else the BBQ sauce was disguising ……… I am so glad I DID NOT EAT THIS DISGUSTING STUFF. I must admit that the BBQ Sauce was very good …. but that is probably done for the purpose so that you DON’T LOOK FOR THE GRISTLE !!!!
