I bought lamb shanks in the meat section in a box. I frozen them then read on the box ,donot freeze. Can you tell me why?
just got the box out of fridge expires 1st august slow cooked but pouch has to boil for 40 mins even my biggest pan is not nearly big enough asked around no one has large enough pan .Never bought Aldi before -other makes you can microwave need help !
Boiling is one of the methods. Do you have an oven ? If you do I actually find this method a delicious way to cook them. You simply put them straight into a roasting pan from frozen, no need to thaw. Then cook for 1 hour and 10 minutes. I also place some baking paper in the pan first. Helps with easier clean up.

Where can I purchase these now that Aldi do no longer stock them, I am a widowed pensioner and they are my all time favourites
They are in store and back to the 870grms and the right price, brilliant Aldi well done.
Were they the Brannigans shanks in the meat section. (Not Freezer) I have found Brannigans great but cant find them often. Cant get through to Aldi to find out why.
No they are in the freezer, when you buy them empty the frozen shanks into pot and leave overnight. This is so when you get the frozen shanks out all of the gravy comes with it, the next day 4hrs before stick them on 150 fan not doesnt matter, cover to retain the moisture until you need them. They will be ready when you need them as the ovens not too high. One last thing, everybody does roasts in the middle of the oven.... just wrong do them at the bottom and the underside stays moist with a crispy top superb. I used to use dripping but as its doubled in price I don’t use that anymore and sometimes use the chicken fat that everyone throws away from the week before thats been in the fridge or lard. :-)

Are you able to freeze Aldi pre cooked shanks
I did not try to freeze them. and would never buy them again as they were awful tough and untasty. Waste of money.
Don't know whether they can be frozen, sorry. I have only kept them in the frige as per normal "use by". Perhaps ask the makers..

I purchased some Aldi cooked lamb shanks but threw the box out before freezing coz of space. Forgot to write down cooking instructions. How long do you boil them for?
Put the container in the microwave without piercing the lid. Cook for 8 mins 30 seconds on high Stand one minute
Or bake from frozen 1 hour 10 mins Baking paper in pan
