Aldi Sweet Vine Pitted Dates

Supposed to be pitted.. but beware! I chewed into several pits and fragments almost breaking my teeth.. could have proven expensive if I had. How can a product that is advertised/labelled as pitted contain pits??? Learn from my experience.. don't buy this product.

Well I've been eating dried pitted Dates from Coles for years and they have been wonderful ,sweet and soft and great in cerials etc. But the other day i was shopping at Aldi and i got some of their Sweet Vine pitted Dates., well they were disgusting, hard, and not a sweet taste, even when sliced up and soaked they were terrible. If you don't believe me Aldi, try them and then try the beautiful Coles brand ones. I bought 4 packs from of the Sweet Vine Pitted Dates, so I'm taking them back for a refund. Cheers Thud
Follow-up · They were off the shelf, 4 packets, i assumed they were in date, only opened 1 packet , but the rest felt just as hard. Took them back and was refunded. If you don't believe me, try them yourselves, and try the great Coles brand.
