Unreliable – Have taken this test numerous times over a two day period after I started having a sore throat and showed up positive after about 10 minutes. Done another test from a different source that revealed that I was negative. I think this test also just picks up the common cold. Better to try different brands of test and to do the nasal swab.
Unsure – Am close contact, started feeling congested and coated throat. Took two tests. Both developed faint lines 3 mins after set 15 mins (so 18 mins). TGA haven't published their review findings yet. Confused. Will test again tmw.

Accurate Test – The oral test has been used 7 times with friends and family. It correctly identified two positives, within 1 day of symptoms and five negatives. It is very easy to use. I bought a box of 20.

Simple test worked after enough viral load – Developed symptoms Tuesday (likely exposure Sunday) and this test correctly identified a positive result Thursday. Confirmed by PCR results later that day as Covid positive. I found the oral fluid test a bit harder to use than the nasal swab test as I had to tip some of the saliva out to get down to the small level before adding the reactive liquid. Also without getting gross the fluid got stuck in the dropper. Other than that it's very easy to use with quick instructions on the box. Results start to show straight away but take 10-15 minutes to confirm. Indicator panel was clear and easy to read. Purchased in store from Docklands pharmacy. You will probably have to test over a few days for the positive result to show. I tested the day after symptoms (Wednesday) with other RAT tests and tested negative Wednesday even though symptomatic but started testing positive Thursday with this and another test. So best to have more than one test over a few days for enough viral load to build up.
