Allowrie Mixed Blossom Honey

This is amazing and i dont see why people hate it – This honey is probably the only brand i like, its amazing and tastes so good. Its also really good with savory foods like nuggets etc. To everyone that was rating it 1 star, they are probably just people that are used to super natural honey like sucking it out of the bees (chill its a joke) Anyways i love this <3

Terrible! – I bought this “honey” by mistake and I now understand why it is so poorly rated. Watery, imported syrup! Don’t waste your money on this rubbish. Stick with 100% Australian honey from reputable businesses.

Allowrie honey mixed blossom & 600g dispenser – I wrote a review earlier today and didn’t, get an email. I have looked at the last page and noted that I made a mistake in the email address. It is now correct below, could you please fix this for me.

Cheap syrup – This is Chinese imported runny trash and. It should be illegal and woollies should be liable as it's syrup. Says packed in Australia using 30 percent Australian product. Are these guys for real. Def get what you pay for.

Horrible – Doesn't even taste like honey. Going to throw it out and get the decent stuff. Usually buy only honey direct from bee keepers but thought this was OK as label stated pure Aussie honey. How deceitful is this.

Impure Honey – Occasionally I purchase Allowrie Mixed Blossom Pure Honey. Pure honey? The last 1Kg tub I bought about a couple months ago. About two weeks ago, I lodged my complaint (Allowrie website) with its batch number and date of packaging) about 2 weeks ago and as yet I have not received a response. Pure Honey - that's false. You've lost me Allowrie. It is a fraction of a star from me.

Horrible – I bought this honey mainly because of the brand. Never again, it's horrible! I've never tasted honey like this, it's got a metallic taste with a nasty after taste. After doing some research, I found that this honey is only 30% Australian! It's disappointing that a product that used to have such a good reputation now resorts to using cheap imported honey. I will NEVER buy this is rubbish again.

Terrible it's like eating sugar granules with bad taste – Bought 1 kg tub of mixed blossom Allowrie honey, after opening it started to crystallize and the flavor was much to be desired. Now whole tub is crystallized and is inedible. Never again

Really bad taste – Mixed Blossom has a terrible bitter taste. Like burnt plastic. I don't know where they source the honey but the bees must be sick. I won't buy any more of this product.

Allowrie honey is not the same as normal honey – Allowrie honey is runny but after a few days it crystallises, when you put in a microwave or hot water the taste changes. It just not taste like honey. I am also disappointed that it is only 30% Aust. honey. From now on I am going to spend more money and buy 100% Aust honey. It is worth it. Like good coffee honey has to taste good.

It might have "30% Oz Ingredients" which I assume would be Honey but what is the other imported 70% made of??

I was just about to email Allowrie the photos of the batch number/labels etc then googled their details & I read these reviews...., everyone is right, the honey is simply very poor & would I buy it again. Simply no.

Suspect imported honey – Unfortunately I had already bought this allowrie mixed Blossom honey when I saw information on a newsfeed that in fact it is mostly Chinese honey imported and mixed with Australian honey. I will not take the risk by eating something from that country and neither for anyone else, it was disposed of. Pays to read EVERY label thoroughly.

Allowrie bad Honey – !KG Allowrie Honey some use OK then 5/8th from base up changed into a mixture of Glumpth. Terrible & 2 Beekeepers told me Caperlano sends to China [who have a real shortage of bees] looks dangerous to eat & they say Glucose & Sucros ADDED bought 1 mth ago took back to Woolworths @ Engadine 2233 No questions asked or rcpt gave me back the money Allowrie, a top brand in the old days! disappointed – After reading most of the reviews about this terrible imported honey I agree: 1 not worth one star 2 labeling far too small although I accept it was my responsibility to read it before purchase 3 I thought Allowrie a reputable company but I will be wary of their products in future.

in very small print. Found the honey to be very runny and flavourless and lacking body. As far as I’m concerned, I’m buying a brand that I know is Australian 100%.

Imported, but I am very happy with this product – I have had no issue with this product, and flows better than some other honeys. It is also cheaper. The 100% compliance rate regarding all known contaminants with all random tests gives me great confidence in its safety. I'd prefer having this product over chronic shortages.

Runny, cheap imported crap – I bought Allowrie because I didn't want to buy Capilano, and didnt do my research before buying the 1kg tub. It is sugary, watery and runny and definitely not all 100% honey despite the label's claims. Don't buy it!

Buyer beware!! Wish i had read these reviews before purchasing – I've bought Allowrie mixed blossom a few times when we've run out of our local honey. So disappointed, it doesn't taste like honey and consistency is nothing like honey. My dissatisfaction took me to the label, very misleading, it's actually not Australian honey, made from imported honey, again probably from China where they dilute their honey with all types of different cheap dirty syrups. Never buying again!!! Buyer beware!

DON'T BUY!! --- IMPORTED HONEY!!! – I love my honey. When possible I buy direct from the apiarist, knowing I've bought the highest quality, tastiest honey. We ran out so had to buy a bottle of this (CRAP) and as soon as I tasted it, it tasted FOUL! Once I read 'Mixed Blossom' on the bottle I then was certain it was imported....reading the back confirmed this! SHAME Allowrie! Risking our Australian honey industry by potentially bringing in diseased stock....! Grrr!!!!

Slightly cheaper in price Hugely rubbish quality – I can't add anything more than the other one star comments except . DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HONEY. I thought it was me decanting from the 1kg into another container. So I made sure I cleaned it each time but nothing works to stop this stuff going candied.

This honey mixed lot of sugar – Poor quality, mixed so much sugar as I opened it for a week in the winter. Now it is look like sugarcanes. Too bad as it is pack in the plastic tube. Now no use.

China honey – Take honey back to coles or Safeway . They are cunning the way they say where it's made ? Defnitly from China . The says they have to indicate where it come from and they don't ??????

Poor quality import – Purchased from grocery store within supposedly a few days of packaging. On opening it had a strange light metallic flavour. Within a week it turned sugary. I read the container and it suggested to put the honey in hot water and it will return to thin runny honey. Again within days it is like a container of cement.

poor product! – I bought Allowrie mixed blossom honey 500mg at Colesupper Coomera store. I have been using and also producing honey from the hives over the past 65 or more years but never have I had such watery honey>Kept in the refrigerator this jar of honey is of watery consistency . it also is not as palatable as most I have ever had

Decieved – I have been buying Allowrie Organic honey believing I am doing the best for my families health only to find out it is imported from china and may not even be 100%honey at all! Not happy about this deception!!

Is it even honey? – I've been buying different brands of honey for over 40 years. Allowrie Mixed Blossom Honey doesn't smell like honey. Doesn't taste like honey. Hasn't got the viscosity of honey. I have to ask - is there any honey in it?

will not buy any Allowrie products again after this experience. Aldi's Australian Honey by comparison, is lovely so I will stick to that.

Not worth one star – Bought Allowrie Mixed Blossom 375g sqeeze pack September 2016. The Packed Date is 23/05/2016. It has, like other reviewer, turned to a crystalline goo. Only contact details on pack is the Honey Corp of Aust address. Apparently this is CAPILANO Honey. Obviously they know this product is crap as they don't mention it on their web site. Never to be bought again.

How long this product turns to Candied Honey and unsuable – This is the second time I have purchased Allowrie honey to find that within a month the Honey goes from Liquid to Crystalised. Its unusable. I have contacted the Honey phone number to be advised that I can return it to a store and replace. Why would I want to replace it if it happens all the time. Honestly who keeps receipts from a month ago with your weekly shopping. How absurd is that. No wonder they do that no one keeps a receipt from your weekly shopping we all dispose of it. Allowrie must be cheering no refunds. Well not buying there product again after this happening twice.
