Altec Lansing 2100 Computer Speakers
3 reviews
Excellent PC speakers – When I went shopping for a PC speaker setup in 2003, these were by far, the best sounding system that were available in the sound room. After more than 11 years continual daily use, this opinion has not changed. If it were possible to purchase a second set for my secondary computer system, I would do so without hesitation. Appearance. Sound. Reliability
Absolute rubbish – I brought a M812 Altec Lansing iPod dock, and to be honest the sound it produced was very good until it melted all the inside boards, around the fuse holder. It just so happens that this accured after the 12 month warranty had expired. It was an expensive learning curve. Next time I'll stick to Japanese built! Good sound while it worked. Expensive.
Good – I wasn't expecting too much from a relatively cheap speaker system. But I was plesantly surprised when I hooked it up and gave it a good test. The main speakers are quite small and take up negligable desktop space, whilst the sub that adds the depth to the sound can be tucked away. The two main speakers take are very small they also look quite good. Nothing I can think of.
