If you want the extra cost of visiting a dentist for a broken tooth buy these so called pitted prunes. Lots of broken stones. Contacting them after telling them of the issue and that I threw out 3 packets was brushed off because I only had the use buy date

TO PRUNE OR NOT TO PRUNE – We usually buy Angas Park Whole Australian Prunes however this time my husband accidentally bought 1kg Pitted Prunes. On checking, the Pitted Prunes are only PACKED in Australia, origin unknown. Pricing is really strange, by Colesworth, Pitted Prunes $14.00kg, whole Australian $9.00kg. That means we’re paying $5.00kg to have the seeds removed… Read more

A great improvement – Last year I posted a critical review of this product. I must say now that it has improved enormously and the prunes are once again soft and juicy. Show details

Lower abdominal cramps after consuming non Australian prunes – I have recently purchased the 1kg Angas Park pitted prunes and noticed after I took them home that they are no longer Australian, there is no indication as to where they are from. They are larger in size and juicy but different to the previous Australian prunes. With these they have caused me to have quite severe cramps. I was only taking one or two every three days. I will try taking one only and hopefully will help. Show details

How the Angus Park company turned coat on its valued customers – I've been buying their whole Australian prunes for years, but the last lot i got in March 2023 were all dried up and near impossible to eat, when i rang the company their excuse was the batched they have been receiving to package were not real good but they packaged them anyway and distributed them to the supermarkets. I mean what an insult, you… Read more

just wouldn't do that to your valued customers. Actually you can't test test them or even seen inside the packets. So beware, so my only solution is to never buy them again...... what an insult.

Just WOW! – It's been a very long time since I've tried prunes, simply because I recall them tasting absolutely horrid! Well, today I bought these. The selling point on the packaging was, they're Aussie 99.9%, deliciously sweet & juicy. I need the fibre. I was very pleasantly surprised they actually are very, very nice!! A product I will be adding to my shopping list more often. I would happily recommend these. Show details

No longer juicy fruit – Once when you bought Angas Park Australian prunes (as distinct from the imported prunes) you got a completely different product... in particular a soft juicy product in contrast to the relatively hard dried imported prunes. No longer... I cannot tell the difference now so wonder why I'm paying so much more and whether I'm in fact eating imported prunes...? Is anybody else out there having the same problem?
