Antsig AP546

Worst tool I ever bought – What a terrible tool and product, your RJ45 cuts off the cables when crimping with the Antsig crimper. I normally stick with product names and tools that I use but antsig is soo bad that I used it on site once, set me back 2hrs. Everyone I talk to hates the product. Bunnings should get it of their shelves!!!!!
AntsigAA1100 – Bought Antsig outdoor TV antenna from Bunnings. The signal of UHF is OK, but poor reception for VHF channels. I am living in Perth Metro area. customer service is bad.
The box said it was HD – It can pick up all the free to air channels in Sydney EXCEPT the HD channels. It plays the sound but with zero picture. On the box it says "1080Full HD" as a main feature. I dont think so..... Bought it at Bunnings but I notice they dont accept product reviews - clearly not much faith in what they stock!! Disappointing.
Worked no better than standard 'rabbit ears' antenna – This product looked neat and given it also included an amplifier, seemed like a good deal. The manufacturers website says it is suitable for "PRIME" areas and after searching the website a map showing this was eventually found. Mitcham was in the "PRIME" area and the TV transmitter on Mount Dandenong, all good so far. With the amplifier off, it picked up nothing at all, less than the rabbit ear antenna I was trying to replace. With the UHF part of the amplifier turned to maximum, some patchy signals were received. Turning on the VHF part of the amplifier and some channels started to work, but others didn't. Changed locations, moved the VHF antennas, changed the height and extended the cable all did little to improve the reception. Maybe this would work if you could see the TV transmitter, but then a set of rabbit ears would probably do the same . . .
