Aporyl Anti-Fungal Nail Treatment

Excellent product. It works. I have tried other products over the years but they did not work. A pharmacist recommended Aporyl but I was hesistant because of the price. This is a medical-grade product and is used with caution. I took a gamble and it has worked. (Shop around for best price, mine was $54 but I've since seen prices $38-$48 too). In the first week after only 2 applications the affected nail - hard, yellow and lifting up because of the debris, (which by this time had also been growing side ways and curling south cutting badly into the flesh) softened enabling me to trim it normally and remove the cemented debris. I was able to cut the corners of the ingrown nail too. I used it twice a week for 3 weeks and the difference was amazing. As of today 6 July 2025) I have been using it now for 2 1/2 months and can see it is no longer yellow, and the nail bed is subsiding, only 15 degree rise which is for me acceptable. It no longer looks dead and grotesque. I no longer have a severely ingrown nail either and can walk properly. Two podiatrists were useless as was the GP.

I am stopping today for a long break to allow the liver and body to naturally detox and heal because I have noticed in my case it can affect liver enzymes (very very small fractional increase in the scheme of things but any more and I will be outside of 'normal' range. (I am also a health practitioner.) It's a good idea to tell your GP you are using this very powerful and effective product. So, I can say my toenails look nice now. BTW It does require you to lightly sandpaper the nail, wipe it with a swab, paint it with the laquer - all that takes 4 minutes, a bit more if you have a lot of nails to contend with. Best wishes.

August 12, 2025. Nail is level now and for me this is very meaningful. In my case it is not a 'clean normal nail' because the nailbed has been damaged, but looking from top down, it looks like the other 9 normal ones.
