Great little unit – Don't know what the problem is with people. I have 4 of these little tap timers, vought them over 1 year ago from Bunninings and have only just now had to change the batteries. They have worked perfectly well for me and my garden.only problem I have encountered is when I had to reset the settings, it was to low to the ground. I simply removed it from the tap, reset and refitted. Problem solved. Love them! Show details

Works perfectly! – Ours has worked perfectly for over 3 years. Easy to programme if you follow the directions. Only issue has been that one of the two wires from the battery connection became disconnected and had to be soldered back on . They only cost about $35 from Bunnings and have a warranty so can’t understand why some would write negatives!! Show details

Rubbish – Have had 2 of these now. Both have failed-valve started to leak on one and the other wouldn't fully open. The display is unreadable as unit fits to a tap usually set low against the house. Show details

Great digital timers – I have these Aqua digital timers and my screen also was unreadable due to the sun. Aqua give you a 12ltr warranty and i took mine back to Bunnings and was able to get a refund or a replacement. I now just put some alf oil inside the lid to stop the sun damaging the display. All great, And i have 10 of these as i have a hobby farm Show details

Faulty LCD screen – Less than a year old and cannot make out the screen to program it. Replaced battery and still cannot use it. Waste of time and money. Something made to live outdoors and failed. Very disappointing. Show details

Excellent – We purchased this a year ago at bunnings and set it to water our new tropical garden twice a week. It worked a treat. Needs a new battery now and my only criticism is that it went flat when it was in the on position - therefore tap did not turn off. I need to learn to keep an eye on the low battery symbol - or set an alarm to change the battery every 12 months. Show details

Do not buy one of these – Didn’t last 12 months for the money you pay should last at least 5 years. After 6/8 months went to reprogram can’t see screen only see bits and peace’s of the digital Display. Only lasted life of battery. Put new batteries in didn’t fix it heap of s—t Spend bit more and get something decent.  Show details

Unreliable Unit that Only Lasted Less Than a Year – I purchased the Aqua Systems dual outlet battery powered tap timer at Bunnings to operate a garden and lawn sprinkler system for my small front yard. One outlet controlled 5 lawn sprinklers and 6 garden sprinklers, while the other controlled 4 dripper units watering 4 pot plants on the front patio. The unit was perfect in that I could program… Read more

totally different programs at different times, days and frequencies, for each water circuit. The main reason I installed the unit, was to maintain water to the pot plants, while on holidays. The unit worked well for about 9 months until I went on holidays. Imagine my dismay when on my return, I saw that the lawn and garden looked dry, but the four pot plants looked really bad, with two already dead. I tested the unit and found that the timer worked as planned, the solenoid went "click" but no water flowed. The same thing happened on the manual setting, just a "click" and no water flowed. I replaced the batteries with two new AA alkaline batteries, and the same thing occurred. All after less than one year of use. A poor purchase, but I could not locate the purchase receipt from Bunnings, so no warranty replacement.
