Aquaport AQP-RFW

I have had this unit for 1 year to find there is no longer replacement filters available for it. I now have to replace the whole unit. I definitely will not be replacing with any Aquaport products for this to happen again

AQUAPORT AQP-FKW – Purchased from bunnings for $236 and the filter failed after 2 months. All the carbon started coming out the filter turning the water black. Very expensive for the filter replacement AQP-RFW around $180. Filter was supposed to last 6months. Dont waste your money on this inferior product.

Just cannot buy replacement cartridges – I bought the under sink water filter at considerable cost from Bunnings only to find that I now cannot buy replacement filter cartridges as they have dropped these cartridges from their product line rendering the whole system useless and basically a waste of money. Considering it cost additional money to install this product is is simply not good enough as the line has been made redundant and I am now hundreds of dollars out of pocket. Of course I can replace the model with a new model (surprise, surprise) which costs more again but having been bitten once already why would I buy anything again from this company and have to go through the whole process again and again the new model filters water exactly the same with no improvements that I can see other than you having to replace the whole unit rather than just the filter cartridge which was over $100 itself. This is ridiculous the way companies sell you something and then they simply drop the whole line to try and force you to buy a whole new system within 24 months of purchase. Not again you got me once we consumers have to start holding these companies accountable for trading in this fashion by simply not buying their products. This is the great value of a site such as this and more consumers should use it to advise others of this type of company behavior.
