Brilliant device – Brilliant device for emptying my fountain pond from 1 metre down to a couple of mm. Highly recommended. Remember that you must have good water tap pressure to drive it.
Very efficient pond cleaning pump, especially when water level is low – I bought this to supplement my existing pond cleaning pump. The existing one works great but I have to ensure that the water flows to a lower level than the pond....and it gets a bit messy to get it working (and I don't think the fish like me splashing around). This Aquapro Little Pond sucker is fantastic - especially when the water level in my deep pond gets low. No mucking around trying to get the water flow going. Just stick the hose on and away it goes. It made it so easy to suck out all the gunk from the bottom of the pond effortlessly! Absolutely fantastic! Highly recommended.
Waste of money – Bought it to make it easier to empty my bird baths and water feature as I have a bad back. Lasted one use. Returned for a refund and bought a siphon instead.
Did the reverse of what it’s meant to do – My stormwater pit I was trying to empty so I could concrete it ended up filled with water after trying to get it working for an hour. Waste of $30 :-(
Best bang for buck to get rid of ponding water – You know there are some products you stumble upon by accident. Today after all the rain the past couple of days we had a heap of water pooling on top of the pool cover. I have been using a 25 litre bucket to get rid of this in the past but it took forever to do it that way. So today I thought I would see what pumps Bunnings had to get this water off the top of the cover. Well I soon realised that the pump I was going to need was going to cost me over a $100.00 so the bucket was looking like the best deal at this stage.
Then I walked down to the gardening area with the water features in it and I found this product and bang for buck it is fantastic. I had all the ponding water on the pool cover gone in about 30 mins. Cost me $30 and well worth it in my opinion.
Very simple to connect up to your garden hose as it uses a standard quick connect fitting and the oullet drain pipe is plenty log enough at 3 metres. I reckon if you needed it to be longer then you could get some more from the gardening aisle at your local hardware store and use a joiner.
Hoestly this little pond sucker is the bees knees.
