Aquos 10.8 Inflatable Coming Undone – I bought this boat on eBay in June of 2014 for use as a dinghy for our cruiser and put a new 9.8 HP short shaft on it. It seemed like a nice enough boat for the money, I especially liked the aluminum floor. We'd had the boat out and have put a total of about 2.5 hrs. on it. Granted, it has resided in dry storage most of the time. Two years ago… Read more

I emailed the company I bought it from to inform them that a number of items were coming unglued and falling off. They were very cordial, apologized and sent me 9 tubes of glue to fix them, and I was okay with that. This month, I decided to get the boat out, clean her up and get her ready for the season. As I unrolled the boat however, the handles, oar locks, rope footings and even the name plates (every single appendage) had fallen off or were ready to fall off. I also found that when I inflated the boat to clean it, the starboard pontoon had a leak about an inch wide where the seem had parted at the end of the pontoon at the rubber cone on the end. Cheap, Chinese product.

I ordered some really good quality Clifton Urethane Adhesive glue from NRS.com (you can find them on YouTube) and have been busying myself with the considerable effort of re-attaching every single item to the boat. So far so good. My hope is that using a quality adhesive will keep the boat intact for a few more years. The boat is cheap enough in comparison, just know that this WILL be an issue down the road.

Excellent boat(16ft version) – I have the 16 ft version of this boat. Takes about 30 minutes to put together and has been very reliable, even though I bought it used. I run it with and old 2 stroke 35 hp Johnson, which is the max for this boat, and I get 22 Kt on calm waters. I have only put the boat in water about half a dozen times and never let it sit out in the sun, and its been all fresh water use, so I can't say how long the boat will hold up over time.

Great Cheap Boat – I've had mine for about 5 years now. Still going strong. No problems with leaks or glue. Even glued on a few extra bits (cup holders, d-rings etc) and even they are going well. Run it with a 25hp johno and it powers along. Jumps well too, if you're into that sort of thing ;-)

NSW Ski Gardens Caravan Pzrk Wisemans Ferry NSW – Don't book this park for on site accommodation. The caravan was filthy, we had to boil every item of cutlery, crockery and pots and pans.. The double bed was supposed to be made up with linen. All it had was a double valance used as a sheet, no top sheet but a dirty doona. The single bed mattresses were stained and the single fitted sheets had… Read more

all been used. The blankets in the cupboards were unusable, all screwed up, covered in food scraps, yes, food scraps, and just shoved in. It was terrible, the water was undrinkable, the place smelt and we left the next morning with one of us suffering diahorrea. We had paid for two nights and the managers refused to guve us a refund. We would never go back, have never seen paid accommodation in such a deplorable state. Take a tent if you have to go, it will be safer and more comfortableTHIS REVIEW HAS BEEN POSTED TO AQUOS T SPORT MISTAKENLY. it should be posted to the ski gardens Wisemans Ferry. No smear inended to Aquos T Sport.

Seam Failure – We used our boat 4 times and the glued seams failed on at least 30 points all over the boat. Had to scrap the boat as it was uneconomical to repair. The boat was only 10 months old.

Aquos Inflatable now deflatable – Aquos death boat is a good description Erdy. I bought one. Barely used it. Had it stored in my shed for 12 months and when I next put it in the water, the handles, and oar holders fell off, and it had a leak from a seam. I ordered the special glue to fix it, but as fast as I glued bits up it fell apart in other places. It has now completely peeled away from the transom. I would never buy one again.

Aquos Warrantee Be carefull – This AQUOS death boat is less than 2 years old, limited use. 3 klm at sea the floor separated from the hull and from the front and back of the transom, flooding the boat with water. Search U tube site for similar problem. Some of the other seams are now failing. I sent detailed pictures pictures to AQUOS who unfortunately weren't interested in… Read more

providing what they say in there warrantee. I sent the pictures to a reputable authorised inflatable repair company who quoted me at least $500 to $600 to repair and forwarded this quote to AQUOS. AQUOS said the best they could do was send me the glue when its back in stock or refund me $20.00. I asked to speak to the owner of the company. There response was he was unavailable at any time was they will give me $40.00 for sand paper and glue. I said to them "read and honour your Warrantee". After some time AQUOS offered me $50.00. I explained that I didn't want to repair the boat myself and there offer was offensive. The professional repairer would have to remove the PVC from the whole transom as it appears the glue has failed in other areas, if not done would be prone to the transom wood rotting( Poor quality marine ply is already splitting) and other separation problems leading to more expense. I decided to write a truthful review on this site and posted it to them . Within minutes they responded with an offer of $400.00 if I took the review of this site. That explains why there are no negative reviews for AQUOS. I removed the review and received from $400.00 them into my PayPal account. I still haven't received any monies for the repair and even if they did now I wouldn't remove this review. Potential customers have a right to know what they are getting into. Paying shut up monies on this occasion hasn't worked. AQUOS have a serious service to customer problems as well as a serious quality control issues. The managing director should have investigated AQUOS quality control problems , honoured his warrantee or contacted and resolved his boats issues with me. DONT BUY AQUOS it seems they don't honour there warrantee and buy out bad reviews.. I am going fishing...Not in a AQUOS

Something about my Aquos PVC T-Sport – I bought a AQUOS T-Sport last summer for my children, I promised them I will take them out on weekend to have a wonderful time on the lake near my home. The boat is glued PVC, was $1719 with two paddles and a pump free, well, I had to say the paddles were good for an 8 year old and the pump is a throw away but what do you expect for $0, at least… Read more

my boys thought that paddles were not bad, and the trolling motor and dinghy drain valve I bought with boat also works well. Sometimes I go fishing with my friends, we are not professional fisher, we just do it for fun. The space of the boat is enough for two adults and some dozens of Heineken beer. Oh I’m running away from the point. Continuing with the boat,

I haven’t repaired it yet, there was only one time I fixed the chamber, for my hook made a hole on it. I can't speak for all boats because I'm a weekend user putting 450-650 miles per year on the lake, I just want to say it had a better expression than I expected, especially on such price. While, while, while, like any new product, there is always room for improvement for Aquos boat, such as their poor pump, I had to buy another high pressure dinghy pump. But the whole thing is good, and it’s worth to be seriously consider, especially for people who have a tight budget. wide inside durable reasonable price hard to inflate
