I could not be happier. My visor arrived within a week, perfectly packaged and protected. This genuine Arai visor even comes with silicone gel for easy application. Visor is also protected with plastic lining. Easyr gave me the best price $90, and excellent service delivery. I definitely recommend easyr after this experience. I'll be buying from them again. Very happy. Belinda S

Generally a good helmet but without good wind protection from bike not a great touring helmet – I bought the Arai Profile V after reading a lot about it online, reviews, tests, etc. Seemed to tick all the boxes Have worn the helmet for probably 7,000k's Cost about $850 for the helmet then another $150 for the visor with the sun shade on it which fits externally, and the pinlock PROS: -Helmet is reasonably comfortable. -Flip down sun visor works very well- good design. But not as efficient as some internal sun visors -Good safety rating -fairly compact, doesn't feel very bulky to wear. -doesn't fog up, fairly decent ventilation. -D Rings on the helmet straps so you can fasten it to underseat helmet lock. Very convenient if you use this setup. -Very good looking helmet.

CONS: -Very expensive -Have to buy sun visor seperately -DIdn't include pinlock -Doesn't come with any reflectors for night riding visibilty - Visor lock slightly fiddly - The 2 top air vents make a whistling sound -The chin curtain is too small and non adjustable. Allows wind noise and wind chill in. -Strap digs into my throat if not left slightly loose -Arai deliberately made the helmet opening larger for ease of putting on and off, but I have found that to be a major source of wind noise and ingress of wind chill in cold weather. Wearing a thick scarf improves both these things quite a bit. -Too noisy for touring (unless bike has excellent wind management) -Doesn't have any obvious comms solutions.

Overall the Arai Profile V does most things adequately. I'm sure it would protect very well in a crash, perhaps better than most helmets. But like most helmets it just doesn't protect from noise well.
