We have had ARC Bamboo flooring down in our Kitchen living room at our farm for 8 yrs & still looks brand new. Just love it so we also put it thru the top floor of Holiday home @ Victor Harbor 4 yrs ago and performs beautifully. Now renovating City pad and just about to install 60 sq mts thru our living area. Note we sealed around kitchen cabinet… Read more
base & by doorways to reduce water impacts. Don’t use steam mops on timber floors if you want to keep them in good condition. Just a damp mop will do ( not wet ). I don’t know what some people do to their poor floors with incorrect cleaning.

Not durable – Premium Floors Arc Bamboo flooring has been professionally installed throughout my entire home. No problem with workmanship however the durability of this flooring is well below standard. It has warped in some areas and faded in other spots however the main problem has been the surface peeling which is occurring everywhere! My home is well… Read more
maintained, we have not mistreated the floor in any way whatsoever, have no children and don’t even wear shoes in the house! I would like to claim under the 25 year warranty but as the flooring was installed by the previous owner we are not entitled to make a claim!
The floor initially looked pretty good BUT – After a couple of years the floor lost colour where some water was spilt and the is apparently no way to restore it and other sections started to peel the covering exposing the bamboo. I had this done under an insurance claim so they picked the supplier who has since closed and Arc appears to have no contact to claim under the advertised 25 year guarantee no Facebook no online contact nothing
Terrible – The bamboo might be strong, but the protective layer peals off. It started pealing after 3 years. We have it now for 9 years and it gets worse everyday. You can't sand it down so there is no solution
Serious buckling – Flooring was put down two years ago in humid weather. This summer has been very humid too and the floor has formed a huge bow on the side of the room last finished. Recommended spacing was allowed and we used Premium Floors most expensive underlay. We also have it in two smaller rooms where there hasn't been a problem. The surfaces are wearing… Read more
well but it has faded as you see when moving a rug. In a big room you need to allow more than the recommended expansion gap. I would never have another floating floor.
Poor product – Extremely disappointed with this product. Had it laid 8 years ago and after about a couple of years it started to bubble and split and scratch. There are only 2 adults in our house and we treated it like kid gloves. So much for hard wearing and only after we had it laid we were advised not to wet mop the floor.
Problems, the boards are peeling – Hi I would like to know if someone else is having problems with this brand of bamboo flooring. Our floor is peeling. We installed it approximately 7 years ago and approximately 1 year ago it started lifting in some areas and peeling. We have other brands in other rooms of the house and we do not have any problem.
Terrible product and customer service – We have arc bamboo flooring in our kitchen/family room. It has been down now for approximately six years. The first problems with scratching were noticed in the first 9 months or so. We contacted Premium Floors at the time and they sent a guy out to have a look. Long story short was that it was our fault for having too much natural light near the… Read more
doors so that was why it was so visible. He also said that because we had a gravel driveway stones were coming in on our own shoes. We don’t wear shoes inside and we have concrete verandas at both front and back doors. When I disagreed with the response they ignored my calls and emails. I gave up. Now six years on and the part of the floor that gets the natural light through a west facing window has started peeling. It has bubbled up where the sun hits it. We are now going to have to replace the whole floor. I won’t go back to Premium Floors to complain as they clearly don’t care once they have your money. Just a warning to others as this flooring is still available.
Arc colour unavailability – I bought arc bamboo flooring 3 years ago and it looks lovely. I am happy with it. However! It has a 25 warranty. The colour I have is autumn. I now wish to continue this through the rest of the house and guess what? You cannot get the colour any more. What if I want to replace any damaged boards?
