This company kept taking out random amounts of money from my account in times that did not reflect my billing cycle, spent over a month emailing them without any response. it was registered on the higher plan; even after confirming it wasn't. So two different occasions had they taken the wrong amount of money from my account. After a month of emailing them they response with an email saying the billing team 'might' response. They do not office billing support over the phone and the billing team don't response to email. This company sucks!

I purchased 8 external up/down LED lights to place on the outside of two sheds. The paint on the product did not last a year and by 15-months the lights still work but are aesthetically rubbish. reviews and they know it ? Complaints go back years ! They then stated they wanted a receipt from electrician install ??? A remote so enough we Hy back to bunnings and they gave me a remote from another box to try ?? This one won’t turn it on but turns off ???? So we use the speed buttons to turn on ! Installed in every room. One failed after another. Remote will activate a fan in another room. All make this annoying grinding sound at level two. Have to replace every fan now. Over $1000 wasted on unreliable product
We bought 3 Arlec DC Smart Fans. Within 2 yrs all three receivers and remotes failed. Purchased 3 new replacements about 7 months ago and now one of them has failed. So over this garbage. My advice is do not buy these fans.
Purchased a light strip for the tv and connected it all up and went to turn it all on and it blew the tv up. Tried to contact Arlec and get a refund or compensation but they are saying my items are working fine and they can’t do anything about it but refund the lights. Joke of a company, don’t use, customer service is terrible
Bought 4 x Boston Dc Fans, one lasted just over 1 year and outside of the short warranty, the second lasted 2 years. Both stuffed now and customer service no help at all. Steer clear of these products. Paid extra thinking it would the better product especially with the name but no.
Piece of [Content Removed] fan is impossible to put back together once taken apart for cleaning. Tiny plastic strip that is supposed to hold the two pieces together is pathetic. Must unnecessarily fiddly thing ever. AVOID
Absolute rubbish products. Just buy any other brand. Pretty much any Arlec product I’ve ever bought has failed well before similar products by other brands. I’ve just replaced another Arlec smart bulb, and am kicking myself for thinking I’d get it because it was cheaper - it’s not!!! You end up replacing the Arlec product multiple times when a slightly more expensive product would have just kept working. They are just awful. Never again.

Arlen products suck – I bought an Arlenc ceiling fan for my toilet. It shook and vibrated when switched on. Arlec customer service said this was normal? I don't think so Arlec. I replaced it myself with another brand and it works perfectly. Good bye Arlec you have lost me.
No logical attitude customer service , missing spare parts in head warehouse , incomplete package – I was ordered on 28/12/2023 and paid for two remote kits with handsets and receivers at Bunnings Maroochydore because one ARLEC ceiling fan in my house stopped responding to the signal from the remote control. feeling that I was talking to people for whom I was an intruder disturbing them during their meal. You sell advanced ceiling fans with LED lights at Bunnings and you don\'t have parts for them in your main warehouse????? Additionally, you have to wait a very long time. A week ago I received confirmation that the complete set was ready for shipment. Today, March 11, 2024, it turned out at Bunnings that I only received two remote controls with batteries... and where are the two receivers? Is this some kind of stupid joke? Who logically supervises this shipping process.....children or adults???
Dodgy ceiling fans costing $220 each. They don't put off air unless you're standing under them – Arlec Smart DC Ceiling fan, Noisy, screw cap on base of fan loosens & drops now and again. & having trouble starting up with a back & forward motion before needing a little push to get moving. They also struggle to put off any air unless you're standing directly under them
Stay away from this company – Faulty fan remotes deplete batteries in 2 weeks. Arlec just say they don’t have stock for over a year and won’t offer any other solution. Really poor product quality and customer service.

November Arlec have been stuffing me around and asking for photos of the remote, then the back of the remote, then the interior. Then they can't find them photos can I send them again. I feel they constantly fob me of hoping I will just give up. The fans are a nightmare, if my daughter turns on the fan in her bedroom in the night, the one in the lounge comes on. If she had gone to bed and I turn on the light in the lounge to read our sew, her light comes on it is totally infuriating. Arlec day that this is not a warranty issue, even though their electrician performed the work and set the fan to the same frequency as another in the home. Eventually they have sent me the electrician's instructions for installing the receiver (not easily understood by a lady person) and told me to recalibrate it myself. DO NOT buy from this company - their products are of our quality and fail within warranty but they take no responsibility. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ABYSMAL. Very disappointed.
Customer service – Was told by these guys they had sent me a reciver two weeks ago ring up to follow up and they haven't Evan sent it. Then am told I need to email receipt why was this not said in the beginning absolutely useless.
Prompt reply and excellent service – We have an Arlec inflatable Santa which moves up and down out of a Christmas present box which we bought from Bunnings a couple of years ago. personal response from Sam Linke at Arlec saying they don't supply the spare parts for the inflatable but offered us this year's model as a replacement for free!
We gratefully accepted his offer and he replied, again same day, that it would arrive within 3-8 days.
It arrived on 4th January.
We have bought a few Arlec inflatables over the past few years to add to the collection, (the grandkids love them) and based on this service, we will continue to do so.
