proven to be a poor-quality product and a waste of money, especially once you factor in the additional cost of an electrician to install them.

Should have been recalled – As per the other reviews, I purchased this Arlec ceiling fan with light only to have the blades sag and lose their pitch within two months or so leading to there being almost no air to be displaced, thus the materials used are certainly not fit for purpose. All in all it appears that this fan has been replaced and the company surely didn’t try to do the right thing by customers and issues a product recall for refund plus financial damages; just typical in my opinion. I am only writing this now, because is it hot in my room and I am annoyed by this poor product!

Good fan, cheap plastic light – Fan & remote work well and seems quiet. However, oyster light cover is extremely thin and broke on installation. We were being careful, but a certain amount of force is required to ease it over spring-loaded mounting clips. That force, carefully applied, is more than the thin cheap plastic can bear.

Junk ceiling fan. Don't circulate air. Stay away – Well they look smart but they don't move air. Remotes work well. They are quiet. But they don't spin fast enough, blade pitch is not sheer enough. electrician, they work well like a fan does, are quiet, the remotes and lights work and they look modern, stylish and simple. Overall, currently very happy with this product and especially for the price.
