No idea, but I don’t think so. I threw mine away. Found it useless. Too quiet.

Why does my Arlec DC686 unit play in the night and every day I have to reset the button on the unit. Stuart
Read my response to an earlier question (below - 8 months ago). Best thing to do is throw the crappy thing away or try to return it. I bought an SCCES Doorbell from Amazon and it's worked perfectly - no annoying rings in the middle of the night, and I've never had to re-sync the button with the bell.
I bought my Arlec door chime D681 about a year ago. Worked well for about 4 months though not very loud. Then stopped working. I changed the battery in the push button unit and this lasted about a week before it stopped. No chime from receiver unit. What can I do to avoid this happening again? Thank you
While the chime works OK the sound is so low that it can't be heard in the house less than ten meters from the push button. The unit is plugged into a power point in the hallway less than six meters from the front door. I have just changed the battery but that made no difference.
How can I stop this nasty thing happening?
I made a complaint direct to Arlec - and they replied: "Your door chime issue is most likely interference from a smart electricity meter or from a solar power inverter or a meter box installed wireless energy cost meter"...
So, basically they're saying the thing is not fit for purpose - as a large proportion of aussies now have solar.
I bought a replacement from Amazon for around $25 - it's been much better and the push button actually is actually designed properly unlike the ridiculous all white design of the arlec button.
I spent a while researching before buying a replacement - seems like nearly all the wireless doorbells sold in Bunnings have similar issues (Arlec, HPM, Swann).
I faced the same issue the day a smart meter was installed at my home. What product did you end up buying to replace it?
