ALDI Ascot Weather Station Questions & Answers

I’ve got 2 x Ascot Weather stations. Over time the outdoor sensors popped their clogs. There’s nothing to go wrong. A blast of compressed air that you use for your computer keyboard dried them out and they burst into life. Well, it worked for me.

Thanks Roger. Unfortunately, I have tossed them out and am using the indoor unit as an outdoor thermometer and clock. I have bought an American Weather station but it is nowhere near as good as the Ascot

I am having the same problem. I have three indoor displays and only one outdoor sensor, which has now failed after many years of service. the outdoor sensor has been flooded with water several times twice suffered an insect making a home and causing a short. the sensor still went on working even after two evictions. but it has now given up. I have tried to find replacements to no avail. I do know that the sensors transmit on specific wavebands if you have any info/paperwork etc, left on your station, it may reveal that transmission band allowing you to purchase a similar transmitter by a different maker.

Hello! I must recognize that I never heard or saw that a part of the system can be bought alone. My station is still working for years and my model is no more avaiable. Sorry, I cannot help you. FW

I have had one of these for years with no issues. Only have to recharge the batteries as I use Nicad batteries. There is a transmit button under the battery cover that you can press to test the sensor. Your batteries may just be getting low.

L.L appears when the readings are below the sensor limit. EG; humidity L.L [dry air]

Hello! As far as I know you must buy a new set; singular parts seem not be available. You may try your chance at the factory in Austria, but I think the answer will be negative. Hope I could help. FW

Hello! I know only one way to get a manual: buy theweather station! As you have one, you just can hope that one reader of this is able to send you one. I have a very old model of the station (more than 6 years old) and in German as I live in Europe and think I cannot help you, unfortunately. I wish you more chance with somebody else. I have the instructions for the Ascot AUK-WS-32 that looks identical to the photo above. I can scan and send it if it is what you want. You can download this manual here external link 

If you go to the website it will tell you that the manual is no longer available. To reset (after replacing batteries etc) to set time press and hold the set button until a beep is heard. Use button +/bell(sorry can’t find a bell pic). To set correct year and press set to confirm. The month starts to flash. Use +/bell to set month and press set to confirm. The day button will flash follow above instructions. The hour, minute and 12/24hr buttons will flash in turn. Set using above instructions. It is now ready. Hope this helps.

Hallo! I have a very old model. Firtst, you must have the exact value of your local pression and then my model have at the back1 button for more value and one for less value. You press the right one till you reach your value. May be you will have to press a button ENTER! I hope I could help. I have my station for 6 years, now. I know there are newer models.FW

I am having problem with the remote outside temperature monitor, it was giving false readings after replacing the batteries. I do not know how long I have had this Ascot weather station but it would be most unreasonable to expect it to last beyond the time I have had it. Is it possible to purchase a replacement?

I too need to replace my remote sensor for my AUK-WS-32 and am trying to find where to purchase one so following your post.

Hello! I have a different model than you have, so my answer may not be correct.My model has knob "+/bell" You should push this knob as often till all the bells disappear on the screen. Hope this can help you, but my model is 5 years old. Best regards, FW
