Psychologist to use with care – This psychologist was meant to provide psychological support to me for about a year. During this period she helped in some respects but failed to develop a treatment plan, failed to meet many requirements of the Australian Psychology Society (APS) Code of Ethics, caused me considerable stress and anxiety by failing to undertake billing to my government provider then blamed me for taking advantage of the non-payment and abused me for feeling entitled. This latter action caused me significant distress leading to pharmacological intervention and undid some modest gains from separate expensive therapy.
