Incredible sound quality at a bargain price I bought this cartridge to replace my old AT55XE which had lost a magnet and a replacement stylus was expensive and only available by import from US or Europe. After setting it up properly on my Grace tonearm and a few teething troubles with connections to the Phono pre-amp (right channel at subdued volume), the sound is incredibly good - particularly for a cartridge costing AUD $69 + $5 delivery. The sound is quite warm - the bass is robust and extended, the mids are well detailed and the highs are there, but maybe a little subdued if your preference is for a very crisp sound. No one could accuse the sound of being shrill. Pros: excellent sound, voice well detailed Cons: no cons.
