I bought a couple of spools of Aurarum ASA. I tried to use it in my Bambu Lab AMS but because the filament was poorly wound on to the spool, one side much closer to the edge than the other rather than more or less level like every other spool of filament I’ve bought, it rubbed on the filament feed in to the AMS jammed and overloaded the AMS. … Read more

Consequently, I had to put the spool on the external holder. First print was poor, I had to dry the filament to get a satisfactory print. I tried it in the AMS after using enough filament off the spool so that it wouldn’t get caught on feed, but once again Aurarum’s poor winding was an issue. The filament went down the sides against the spool so that it wouldn’t get caught tangled, overload the AMS and stop the print. I had to use the external holder. As I worked my way through the spool I noticed a chalky looking dust on the filament, not sure what it was, some sort of filament dust?

When I realised I had problems I contacted Aurarum who asked me to send photos which I did. They they didn’t respond to my photos and ignored all other attempts I made to contact them.

So if you don’t use an AMS you might chose to use it but print quality is unremarkable so don’t pay any sort of premium for it and there is no support.

Closing down sale soon – They send me wrong item and not taking it back. TPU filament quality is shocking, from 1mm to 2mm thickness. Not answering to emails. Wish I had read these reviews before.

There are much better filament brands available – Wanting to 'Buy Australian', I bought some PETG and some ASA filament from these people(Aurarum) in 2023. The PETG ruined my extruder; had to replace most of the hot end to get it up & running. Once I'd done the re-build, went back to Spectrum ASA; Zero problems. After finishing a roll of Spectrum filament that I'd printed multiple jobs with… Read more

yesterday, I loaded what I THOUGHT was my last roll of Spectrum ASA(Still sealed in box/packet), but it turned out to be a roll of Aurarum ASA. After running fine for the first 45 minutes, I'd just stopped monitoring the 5-hour print, when it developed a snot-bubble, and dragged the print off the build plate. Almost exactly the same scenario as what I had with the PETG debarcle. Cleaned everything up, loaded a roll of Spectrum ASA, started the exact same print job, and the printer has now clocked over 10 hours printing without any problems. It seems to be the really poor QC on the filament that was causing the problems. YES; I get the different manufacturer will have different parameters for printing, but when I was previously using the Aurarum ASA, I continually had random failures on print jobs, wheras the Spectrum just keeps on printing.

No response to a sales inquirie in 3 days – Was looking for a local supplier for 3d printer parts and came across their site and they are situated in Ringwood , I looked online at the products and had a question about one of the items they are selling so i sent them an email , disappointing that 3 days latter still no reply , so I would not want to be buying anything from these guys if this is the level of service one is to expect , pretty p*ss poor in my opinion.

Terrible QC and Customer service doesn't care – Stay away from their filament. I only buy from them because they have certain colours that aren't stocked elsewhere but I'd drop them in a heartbeat if I could. Their QC is disgusting and will ruin your printer.

Stay away, this company is horrific – I recently purchased two printers from Aurarum, a ender s1 and a cr5 pro, both printers had issues, but I managed to fix the ender s1 with a firmware update. but since day 1 the cr5 pro was nothing more than a nightmare. [Name Removed] gave me a call to help diagnose my issues with the printing side, for the majority that man was helpful and… Read more

good. The Cr5 arrived with the bearings out of alignment, the extrude gear was not lined up with the extrude motor gear and was causing a issue with filament grinding. One of the rods on the Y axis had a chip in it. Upon further discussions with [Name Removed], the issues I was having did not go away, replacing cables, checking connections. changing filament, changing settings in the slicer. eventually he wanted me to buy parts, even though this should be covered by warranty I own a 3d printing business, and all my other printers are running great, just this cr5 pro. For $1600 i thought, this printer needs to work out the box but did not. I contacted Creality directly and they informed me that this printer is not popular and they barley sell any and that's why there is no updates or information about them. Aurarum lied to me about the repairs. saying it had a clog when I returned it, yet on the phone he was quick to say they just unboxed it and did a test print and it was fine. They did not read my emails or communicate with [Name Removed] on the issues I was having over 2 months. Sending me a short 5 second video showing it's working, yet you can see it over extruding. Just because the printer moves, doesn't mean it works consistently they have a excuse for everything. I want my refund!!

issues include: Z offset not functioning ( as shown here https://www.facebook.com/groups/1160401951074081/permalink/1420534235060850/ ) this is not me, but I have the same issue, over extruding and under extruding during the same print. no advanced settings. BLtouch making the Z offset out by 0.3mm either way. ignores Gcode parameters when doing filament change. Skips Gcode extrude parameters then later on in the print proceeds to try catch up and creates over extrusion. the firmware on this machine is incomplete and buggy, it's not in a condition for sale. Creality themselves have confirmed this with me. it's hit and miss with this model. After a heated phone call since they were not replaying to my e-mails, I asked for a refund in which Aurarum out right refused, and I threatened him with legal action. Then proceeds to send me a e-mail offering me a partial refund. This company is a scam, they send out faulty machines, then hope the customers just keeps quite, but if you make a point about it and send it back, they lie and offer you part of the money back. that is a full scam and I will be reporting this to the Scam department. I am taking legal action, this company needs to be shut down. The ACCC have been informed and a dispute has been made on This Business.

Drove me away even before making a sale – Spent 20 minutes looking at their online store, picked a few items just to be told that I can't put an order for less than $27! Folks, you're driving away new customers left and right and don't even know it.

Very poorly designed – Not enough time spent testing custom printers, bad design, filament can be brittle, drag chain installed upside down that it catches on job & it jams, also they installed only 1 stepper motor driver for two motors ,they need 1 driver per motor, the power supply also was not the correct wattage, two motors on one driver would run hot, the aluminium… Read more

welding is shocking, i can not believe that a company that makes wombot 3d printers, the quality of the build was quick and as cheap as they could supply, see pics, their are other details that i can not mention, please be aware of it, as if you are not the right customer you will not receive much support because i am only telling it as it happened to me, i do not lie, thank you.
