have a patch of bricks where they “ tested” that is sticky and dirt is stuck to the bricks. Thank you for ruining our dream home! Discussing
Not Happy – We are building a new house we chose a brick Recommended by two suppliers the brick looked very nice. personal contact Austral Bricks they were not very help full I asked to speak to the general Manager I was refused the my request, also sent 2 emails no reply . we have no choice to start legal action if we do not get an answer shortly All we want is them to fix the problem. We have been told that this is happening a lot so we are not the first one. Their Quality control is crap. I wonder if there is any quality control. defiantly to not recommend this company to any one
not happy – We are building a new home, using Austral bricks Indolgence Praline, we chose the brick in the display centre and they looked lovely, and we were happy to give our builder the ok for those. side of the brick has the colour stain, this resulted in many discoloured bricks all over our new build home. as it is we have a house that looks really crap, and any complains we have raised so far seems to falls on deaf ears. We have spent all of our retirement money on this home, looking forward to enjoy our retirement, and instead we are dealing with this horrible issue, we have contacted Austral Brick , by phone calls and Emails. But every one we have spoken or emailed to are giving us the brush off, apparently we are not allowed to speak to the general manager, we have requested if he will talk to us, but the response was no, we just want to know if we can come to a solution, and if they would be willing to at least come over and see for themself what kind of faulty product they are palming off to paying customers. They all seem to pass the bucket to someone else. We certainly did not got the same quality brick they had on display, this is very dishonest way to deal with customers and consumers. In this climate of hardship they are a bunch of hipocrite and opportunistic big company. They don't give a damn
Austral provided our builder defective bricks! – Our home was finished being built seven years ago, using Vitratek bricks supplied by Austral Bricks. Our entire 2 storey home has chips, holes and cracks not just at the edges but in the middle of the face of the bricks. (after initially not calling us or visiting our home) saying they would colour in the chips?? Meanwhile our bricks continue to chip away including in the middle of the brick. Austral look for the cheapest possible fix without acknowledging any liability, despite Austral not using this brick application any longer due to the bricks not meeting satisfactory product requirements. Would never use Austral Bricks again!

Not glazed on ends of bricks – Building a new home and as the brickies got half way up the wall I noticed that the colour was off on the ends of the half bricks. It seems the ends were not glazed. and a representative of austral next week. At this stage I am not happy when I hear I'm the loop that they may glaze them on site with a colouring. I am hesitant to accept anything less than a good batch rebuild. The house looks horribly pixilated. Let's see how honourable austral bricks are at the meeting. Don’t buy from Austral – Besser blocks supplied range in colour from white to grey to black. Many are broken and a lot are clearly defective with inadequate cement. Please go elsewhere. Show details
Poor quality, refusing to refund – I decided to use Austral clay "Earth 50 Firestone Pavers" which were amongst the best they offered. The delivery had a very large number of chipped pavers which I informed Playford Pavers about. chipped pavers for the cut but still ended up with 590 that were to poor to use. Austral has refused to refund what the bricks cost me and only made a piecemeal offering of $385 instead of the $1,109.84 I paid. Playford Pavers picked up the 590 pavers but after Austral have refused to refund my money, they have left me high and dry. There are two issues here, Austral paver quality were very poor, secondly, they refuse to refund the rightful amount of money even though the rep could see the pavers were poor quality. I would not ever use Austral if this is how they operate. If it was a bad batch, then do the right thing and refund the chipped pavers. If this is the normal standard and conduct, I could never recommend their pavers or business ethics. John, Stirling

BRICKS ARE THE WORST I HAVE EVER SEEN – I would not select any stars if the option was available. This is a company that doesn't care. They supply rubbish and say there is nothing wrong with it. Cracked & Bowing bricks. Poor colouring. Poor quality – Suppose to be an upgraded brick. Cracks throughout, bowed bricks and poor colour(greygum). Very disappointed. No one is listening to our complaint. The Austral rep says they are fine. Our building inspector says they are not. We believe they are 2nds.
Disgraceful – Latest advert with a wolf character is a mysandrynous disgrace. The wolf character played by a man is beaten up by a female Austral representative. This a violence against men. Why isn’t the wolf character female? Would a female wolf be treated the same way by a male Austral representative.
Quite a few of our bricks have holes on the face. Have emailed several times but no response since I sent photos – Holes on face of bricks. Bricks look terrible because of this. I am very unhappy with quality of bricks. Need an explanation
Terrible service – Trying to get pavers was a nightmare: each person I spoke to (when they answered and when I wasn't disconnected) gave me a different story and the person on email was hopeless in getting me correct and complete information. phone number right!) so I had no way to plan when to have sand delivered, when I could start work on my paving. In the end, as I was about to call to ask for an update on delivery, I looked out the window to see...the pavers had been delivered without telling me...not even the courtesy to ring my doorbell...really??? Just terrible service.

cop the price increase. l have a text message and email saying delivery would be on a specific day, no communication from them saying it was delayed. The experience has been AWFUL and they are so rude.

Rubbish bricks all chipped – Guys please look for another company ! one of the pallets I have to keep ! But I was advised to check Te inside bricks in the pallet in the middle if they were damaged ! They sent me 3 extra pallets in total most are damaged
And. It to mention they don’t place them on pallets they place on bricks every time you cut the stamp of most brick will collapse and get more chipped shocking such a bad experience
Bricks discovered and uneven – Bricks colour will change , bulged and uneven . I am not direct buyer , unfortunately we used Austral bricks through builder to build our house . Bricks looks too old and damaged look of house. I contacted Austral bricks Newcastle but no response.
