being able to communicate with me better, and hopefully this will help babies vocabulary development too. Some of the signs I think are a little complex (eg. sign for milk) so I have simplified these a little for our own use, I don't think it will matter
Good – Baby Hands was easy to understand and got me started on baby sign rather than thinking that it was too hard. she was thirsty, she now happily signs drink and please and we know what she wants! It gives you a simple strategy for introducing baby sign language to your bub. Before reading this I was a bit overwhelmed by all they signs to choose from. Photos of basic signs are clear and easy to understand. It does include a number of photos but even more would be good!
Good – A useful reference if you want to try baby signing. And baby signing is easy to do and well worth the effort. None really. The author also offers an email newsletter which is not particularly useful, and has BAD formatting!
