Absolute con – ABAMS did not deliver. We paid $6000 (more fool us). We did get some ads done, but like others communication was crap, and 8 months later all ads have disappeared. We've been conned for sure. Do not deal with this company, (they may not exist any longer). I have today listed with No Agent Business.com.au, and they did me a special deal. Talk to them about ABAMS, and you might get the same deal. The are very helpful. Find them here...... http://www.noagentbusiness.com.au/sell-business-online-packages/

This morning I have proof that ABAMS and TBBMS (Trans Migration and Business Marketing Sales) are one and the same. I just got an email from TBBMS that says at the footer, sent by ABAMS. So don't deal with either. You will be sorry.

Do Not Trust These People – I paid the $11,000.00 in January 2016 and like everyone else we received newsletters for the first 6 months and 1 enquiry that turned out to be someone kicking tyres as they never returned the confidentiality agreement. The owner did the same to us with internal issues with owners, change of ownership, web site issues, down more than available. Do not trust these people, there are many more of us who have lost our money believing in the owner/senior associates [name removed] or [name removed] or whatever name he uses now.

Steer clear, all you will get is a hole in your bank account and 6 months of crappy reports and no web site to refer too.

Take Your Money, then No Contact – We were also sucked in by the promise of your business will be under contract within 6 months. Alarms bells should of rang when price to list was $11,000 when we hesitated they quickly dropped it $6,600. So we paid got the same monthly report others got. Then get an email saying the directors are parting ways. Given a new name of person selling business. Ring leave messages to be called back. No return calls. All we wanted to do was drop price of business.. Now we are too scared to list with anyone else... Can't afford to be taken for a ride again...

These crooks need to be stopped..

Negative performance by ABAMS – We have had the same poor performance from ABAMS, The push for money up front for national and international promotion of business for sale, the promotional script was poor and our business description was farcical. Feedback from ABAMS was negligible, a few monthly newsletters with no real content, these newsletters petered out within six months of us making a payment to ABAMS.

ZERO results and superficial communication – This company purports to recruit overseas interested parties to buy Australian businesses - to assist their migration. I can only report my experience. The sales rep was very keen to sign me up to sell my business. Very keen until I agreed and paid $11,000 for third party overseas marketing expenses in advance. From that point on communication was negligible. A simple email report was received each month indicating some interested inquiries were being checked. There was minimal further contact with my "sales representative" - only the unanswered requests I sent him for updates on any potential buyers and a little "lip service" from them.

I paid the money in February and by June warning bells were ringing.

September was the last contact I had. Their web site has been taken down (www.abams.com.au).

I have since sold my business elsewhere.

My experience with ABAMS has been negative and I suspect their main objective was to get the $11k up front.
