Australian Outback Spectacular

Yikes. Given the quality of the film and television industry in Queensland how did this woeful storyline get a run? You don’t expect amazing food or wine etc but there really isn’t any excuse for this terrible show. You already pay the staff and performers to be there so get a proper script and better acting. Way too much chit chat with international guests unable to follow. Embarrassing
Pick up on show! – Firstly we have visited Australian Outback quite a few times over the years with family & friends but after tonight we probably won't return for a long while. Feeling quite disappointed with the show it certainly has gone down hill. It use to be about horseman ship, their riding skills & connection with these beautiful animals. There was a few trick rides by one guy, minor amount of liberty work & very little true horseman skills during the show. However the final storyline of the show was a lovely gesture to support farmers & families living in region areas around our country. The quality of food & drinks have also deteriorated. The staff worked well & were very polite.
Not even half spectacular as before – The bored girls were a kindness compared to the bossy downright rude customer service girls on cloakroom and seating. Our photos made us look sunburnt! Food and drink service was hectic and uncoordinated. Knives only made for kids could've cut steak meal. The actually performances still professional and amazing. Will never return or recommend to friends and relatives down south nor overseas
Good entertainment – This is the second time over the past few years that we have attended the spectacular, the first time with the Light Horseman was a much better show. We enjoyed the show, however the food leaves a lot to be desired. The quiche as a started was nice, but the steak was small and the chicken was tasteless. The chocolate mousse for dessert was ok but the tea or coffee served was cold. It is ok value for money.
